My Vamo is on the way. It's my first non-e-cig device, so I have some research to do. Does anybody know if the settings (if any) it comes with are pretty standard? I'll be starting out with the included clearos and I don't know what setting to use.

Set to n02 and variable wattage- instruction booklet included and actually the first instr. booklet that was any good. Start your watts at 7.5 and work up till you're comfortable/ happy. I'm at 9.0 watts.

Here's a pretty straight forward instructions and also a voltage/wattage chart to make sure you don't burn out your clearos or any other atty you put on the Vamo. Hope it helps.

Thanks. I saw a video that mentioned how to get to n02, but I'm not sure how to set it to variable wattage. Or is that just the 7.5 watts, etc?

Great. Thanks.[/

Got my Vamo a few days ago and like it. My 1st VW device and I got my 18650 Panasonics from F.T. as well. I'm confused about the advantage of VW. If you run your volts or watts according to the vaping power chart above you are told not to exceed a point where the carto wire could pop or burn juice. So really either way you find a sweet spot and enjoy your vape there. I use 3ohm cartomizers and am currious why alot of folks feel varriable wattage is so important. You find a sweet spot either way. someone please enlighten me. Nice set up from H.D.V! Got mine from Exhale vapors but all I needed was the mod itself.

Sorry I was busy. To get either n01 or n02 press and hold "-" button for 10 secs. Once you figure it out this is the simplest VV device I've ever seen. Just remember not to over tighten the carto/ clearo, etc as the threads are a low grade metal and they strip very easily.

Edit:
Sorry again...for variable wattage press "+" and "-" down at the same time together until it changes- same to go back to variable voltage.

Most like to vape at a certain wattage. This makes it much easier if we're switching out diff flavors/ cartos because from one delivery device (holds and vaporizes the juice) the ohms will sometimes vary greatly. For example I'm presently using a 1.7 ohms single coil carto in a tank BUT it measures out to 2.2 ohms. The VW figures it out for me rather than adjusting voltage.
