Looking at the package, the sender tried to put too much in the box, it is bulging, no wonder it was damaged. Just me, I would blame the shipper on the packaging, NOT the USPS. When I get from WL, it is in an box the right size, vacuum sealed bag, and bubble wrapped. Proper packaging would have prevented this. Good thing it was not 100mg/ml nic liquid.

The box is bulged from being crushed. This is multiple smaller bottles of VG. I'm sure some of it is still fine but I'm not gonna open it until the vendor emails me back about how they want to handle it. It honestly looks like it was crushed by something large. Forklift perhaps?

(I work in a factory, nearly everything damaged is because some idiot gets in a hurry with the forklift.)

While I wasn't home, the person that was said they didn't knock, and walked very quickly away from the door (we have a glass front door). From what I understand they tossed it down crate and all, then jogged back to the truck and hauled ... away.

Had I been home I would have chased them down and refused the package.

To tell the truth I've had a lot of problems with my local USPS lately.
Things being marked as delivered and not showing up until the next day. Mail carriers looking around my property when dropping things off and asking to buy thing off the property from me, caught them trying to leave me notices for package pickup because I wasn't home... except I was sitting on the couch and watched them the entire time, and various other shady behavior.

Not sure what "some VG" means but when I get DIY liquids they come in real, heavy gauge boxes - not those lightweight USPS mailers. Every bottle is bagged, and every bagged bottle is buried in packing peanuts. At least the DIY suppliers I use do packaging overkill - for good reason - especially when it comes to 120 ml and larger bottles.

I had one guy that used to already have the slip filled out that said I wasn't home so he could shove it in my mailbox and leave without having to get out of the truck. He got real upset when I walked through the bushes and confronted him about it. I told him that I knew he had done it several times and was tired of it, he went on and on about how I scared him when I "rushed" him. His tone changed when I pointed out the drop cam mounted on my porch screen. He handed me the package that I was supposed to sign for and left. All most of them care about is the paycheck.

Wow, from some of these threads, I guess we have been really lucky with our postal people, both in Ohio and now in California. In Ohio, the problems were mostly with misread addresses at the sorting stations, or subs on the route. Here, the only problems seem to have stemmed from the fact that our street is split between 2 carriers, and sometimes things get sorted into the wrong bin. That happened last July, and when I called the P.O., the person who answered the phone explained about the 2 routes. I must have sounded pretty desperate - the day before Fourth of July, we were just about out of eliquid, and that was our eliquid order. A few hours later, I saw a Post Office vehicle pull up outside the house, and the driver hand delivered our package.

Well I heard back from the seller. They're resending my order and told me to salvage what I could.
I opened up the package and the bottles (4x quart bottles) were individually sealed in plastic and bubble wrapped.
Exactly what i ordered if anyones interested. 1 Gallon Pure Vegetable Glycerin USP in 4 Qt Bottles | eBay

I think I was somewhat right because one of the four bottles was completely smashed and that's what had leaked.
the other 3 bottles are fine though I did get VG all over myself and the other bottles while opening the package.

Just comes down the individual carriers. I moved here from the other side of town last year. Loved my old mail carrier. Nicest guy in the world, the people on this rout are terrible though.
