If I had known sooner how good vaping could be with the right equipment I would have done this sooner. And I think I got lucky right off the bat with a fluid I really like. Buck Naked Turkish tobacco 24mg purchased locally. It tastes about as close to a Camel as I would have wished. Great throat hit and plenty of smoke (vapor) I couldn't be happier. If I can retain my enthusiasm it will be goodbye to analogs. Thanks to all that gave me advise, I really appreciate it.

I'm just in the early learning stage. I have barely figured out the menu system. I got a little help setting up from a nice young lady at a smoke shop. She was also very helpful with the e-liquid. It didn't come with any tanks so I bought a couple of the small ones off of her and have some viva nova's on order. When they come in I'll be trying out some other flavors, hehe can't wait. I did not realize there was a evic sub forum here I will definitely be checking that out. Not sure about the update I'm not even sure what version I have now, I need to consult the manual on that, just know I'm extremely happy with this engineering marvel the way it is. Maybe i should wait before I upgrade. Are there any problems to be encountered with an upgrade ?
If you go into the menu: device:version, you'll find the version. I love my eVic, it's my primary device. The latest version is 1.4, but it's not listed on Joyetech site.
No problems here with the upgrade My first eVic which I donated to a friend came with 1.2, upgraded to 1.3 then 1.4 no problems, My new Vic came with 1.2 (i think but not sure might have been 1.3) upgraded to 1.4 no problems
I totally love my evic. I'm thinking of getting the easy head for it too just for fun.

Thanks for that tip. Before I started going to a Reservation for my cigarettes-which led me to buy my second and first decent E-cig- I used to smoke Camels. Cool to know.

Check out the sub forum for evic and here is a 1.3 guide. 1.4 has a little moe included. I have 0 problems with 1.4 as well.
