I just ordered the new version, 2.1, and got it in the other day. So far the best way to configure it (that I've discovered so far at least) is by using dual vertical coils. Personally I'm running 26g G-plat elite - 2 strands in parallel - for each coil. I've got each coil wrapped 4 times around a screw driver equivalent to a 3/32 drill bit. The build is yielding .1ohms. I realize that this may be very low for some, so please feel free to add wraps to increase your ohms based on personal preference and the battery you're using. I'm using new authentic VTC5's btw. The key I think with this RDA is going vertical with your coils.
I've also used a lot of cotton wicking this build. You want to stuff as much as you can into the channel beneath each coil, but cut it slightly above the top of the coil and fluff it out a bit.
So far the flavor and vapor production have been fantastic. I'm one of those folks that values flavor above vapor production, but wants as much vapor as possible without sacrificing taste. I'm using a 50/50 juice and have to say that this atty does both amazingly well - tons of flavor and clouds. It's got a copper center post screw, which for me is connected to a silver pin on my Papsx. While the Hobo doesn't have a heat sink built into it, it's not getting hot at all.
The other thing that I really like about this atty is that it holds a decent amount of juice without leaking. I'm running with all of the air holes open and vaped laying down while watching tv for a bit. No leaks or spills. If this holds up, I think this going to make my Magmas obsolete. I think the location and size of the air holes is providing great airflow without creating a propensity for leaks.
I know everyone has their favorites, but for anyone looking to try out a new RDA this seems like a winner. Anyone else tried it?
