Both Christmas and New Year's Eve of course dragged me out of the quiet vaping solitude of my apartment but it gave me a chance to notice a few things about vaping. Smoking analogs in any noisy, crowded place where it was allowed was no problem with smoking enjoyment because smoking seems to me now in my memory to have been quite 'invasive' or perhaps the word is pushy, up front, the spotlight grabber to any other thing occurring ... I mean you hardly ever forgot just when you were smoking regardless of how kneejerking the addiction was ...
But vaping I've learned is more like sipping an expensive wine .... As the family grew noiser, the children brattier, the Christmas gift wrap rattling more intense, I noticed that vaping is a very modest type of habit, quite less aggressive than smoking analogs ... I caught myself doing long repetitious 'pulls' on the pen, I noticed it's less satisfying to lose the whooshy or sometimes crackling sounds made and easily heard from the pen unit I use in the quiet solitude of any place where I can vape in peace and quiet.
Being in a darkened car or anyplace where a beautiful cloud of exhale cannot be easily seen also was less satisfying to me as well, and even turning up the dial for a stronger hit was less satisfying without actually seeing my cloud exhale ... now that was something never needed with analogs.
I refilled much more often at the parties than at home I noticed and of course that goes along I imagine with the longer, harder, and more frequent pulls on the unit that I was unintentionally doing for lack of the ability to 'concentrate' on the vaping ... It certainly seems to be a much less invasive method of receiving nicotine.
