Just to add to the topic. Welcome to ECF! I wish I has found this forum before I started buying stuff in September. I too made the mistake of buying discount smoke disposable ecigs. They almost ruined my impression of vaping.
I've quickly discovered that vaping is almost a hobby because you're going to spend a lot of time doing trial and error at the beginning. I'm a month into my vaping journey and finally found the setup and juices I prefer.
Try the Blu, order something like an ego-t, or even look at something like a Foxy Box Mod.
As soon as I quit worrying about my ecig looking like a regular smoke I quickly found what's right for me. I use an ego-t with the tanks on occasion, but typically end up using Boge 2.0 low resistance cartomizers instead. I also have a 5v Foxy Box Mod I got today that I use cartomizers with as well (standard resistance). I love both setups and each serve their own purpose. My fav juice all come from Vermillion River and my menthol juices from Mister E-Liquid.
Don't be afraid to try things and try different juice makers. Find your own favorites. :) Expect to spend some money at first trying to find your flavors and equipment. Once you do the vaping adventure will be more cost-effective. :)
Good luck with your journey and we are glad to have you here!!

Honestly haven't heard much about it. Have you checked out a g6 before:

G6 Basic Starter Kit - G6 E-Cig
G6 Chargers - G6 E-Cig

Or a Smoov:

Starter Kits

Besides the Bloog, V4L (sorry about the first reply since I didn't see this one. Skim things a lot), and Volt. These are the other most popular brands of KR808's here on the ECF.

Also, if you want then you can visit the General discussion forum and post a thread for suggestions. That's where the majority of members are and your not limited to the noob forum anymore:

General E-Smoking Discussion

Here's a link for review of e-cigs as well:

No problem and honestly. I have never heard of that kit before or heard/read of anybody using it. It's good that your doing your research before you commit to buying something. Just wanted to give you the most talked about kits that are available here. The ECF usually focuses on something that works the best and for a good price.

Just wanted to pass on some suggestions onto you. But, check out those links and don't hesitate to ask this question in the general discussion forum. Most of the people there are very informative and might know about that kit compared to the noob forum.

not that i'm an expert, but i'll chime in anyway with my story, for what its worth. i started smoking in college, friend suggested i smoke one to cover up the taste of something else (also new at the time).... anywho, didn't take long and i had to have camel wides for the next 4 years. after that continued smoking, then the last few years i've been fighting with quitting on an off. probably smoked 'full time' for 14 years, then on/off for 3. most of it was mediums and then later lights.

i thought i'd try some cheapo disposables and liked what i experienced, but found them to be too expensive to use for too long (they're like $9 each i think), then tried an entry refillable, worked for a few weeks, but then the battery died (it was rated for only 30 recharges) then finally decided that i liked this and bought the egoT kit from myfreedomsmokes.com. i liked and still do the concept of the tanks. one tank lasts me about a day.

i didn't seem to have any problems switching to ecigs, and quit analogs immediately. i think my sweet spot for nicotine strength is 18mg, less seemed to offer little throat hit (that "i'm smoking feeling" and more was just more than i wanted). i smoked about half a pack a day.

anyway, i have nothing against nicotine itself, i consider it no different than needing caffeine, it was just the 4000 other things that came with the nicotine of the analogs i had a problem with.

in any case, not that i'm an expert (again), but i think the egoT products seem to be a safe/reliable brand, don't know what else may be better, but i like these and will stick with them. am thinking of trying the cartomizers to attach to them (instead of the tankomizers), but just not sure yet. the tanks seem to be clean/easy to me. i haven't had any leaking or anything like that.

i haven't tried any tobacco flavors, seem to prefer stuff with other flavors, it helps me to not think about analogs if i don't smell them. just as an aside, i got a free sample of 'pecan roll' and it blew my mind in taste, i've never liked pecan rolls, but it sure tasted delicious compared to everything else i've tried :)

Hey guys! So thanks to all of you for the helpful words, feedback and suggestions. Very appreciative. I ended up purchasing this kit from Liberty Flights based on recommendations here:

Black Riva 510 Special Edition Starter Kit

From NiteLiteVapor based on great user reviews:
Bounty Hunter Original
Bottle size and nicotine strength: 10ml @ 24mg 1 USD 3.50 USD 3.50
74.004 Renegade RY-4 Tobacco
Bottle size and nicotine strength: 10ml @ 24mg 1 USD 3.50 USD 3.50
9.004 Capparillo Caffè latte
Bottle size and nicotine strength: 10ml @ 24mg 1 USD 3.50 USD 3.50
38 5ml Injector with needle

So now I just need to figure out how to use the injector and needle to put liquid into the cartomizers. I am a little annoyed that the cartomizers only hold enough for like "3-5 regular cigarettes". This means I will probably refilling the cartomizers like 5 or 6 times a day since I smoke a lot and will likely want to vape the same amount.

I'm such a noob!

CONGRATS!! The Riva is a very reputable big batt e-cig on this forum. If your speaking about a standard boge cartomizer. You can just drip alongside of it. Just 25 drops and it will be full but, I highly recommend that you let it sit for 30 minutes before using it for it to be properly filled. It'll ensure you cartomizer won't burn and you get the best vape possible.

As for juice. I also recommend getting more than 30 ml just in case. You don't wanna be down to your last few ml while having to wait for another order to come in. That'll ensure that you are properly stocked.

the 3 10ml bottles should give you plenty of sampling time to figure out if any of those are to your liking. when i started i bought 40ml of cappucino somthing or other, only to find it doesn't taste anything like i imagined it would, then had to 'dilute' it with chocolate and menthol :) turned out to be a decent mix in the end, but gave me warning to try out sample sizes before commiting to any particular flavor in volume.

**Update!**
Got my Riva 510 Kit yesterday and some juice. It has taken me about 24 hours to figure it all out. Finally figured out that I have refillable atomized cartridges and NOT cartomizers! haha . Had to go on youtube and find a good tutorial on how to fill them up. Once I did, I'm all good! I figure they can only hold about 8-12 drops? Anyway, I am vaping this afternoon and so far so good. I ordered all coffee or cigarette flavored liquid and now I am definitely going to have to try something fruity/peachy! Any good recommendations? Also, I am wondering how long the cartridges are able to be refilled and should I "dry" them out every night like someone was saying on youtube? They said to leave the cartridge empty and turned over on the side where you put the liquid in. Is that correct? So far I'm LOVING this!

Really glad to see this update -- that's great news.

You'll be able to refill the cartridges for a while, maybe 10 times, before the filler starts to get a little stiff and won't take the liquid so well anymore. I suggest you go back to Liberty Flights and get some 510 cartomizers. They hold a lot more juice and last a lot longer. I think everyone gives up on cartridges the first week.

It definitely worked for me. I bought an eGo kit in June (highly recommended), more as novelty than anything else. I didn't even have plans to quit smoking! Well, lo and behold, I decided to quit anyway after using it a few months. It was so easy too! Vaping is simply enjoyable, plus you start feeling so much better and don't stink. I could go on and on about my much I love my eGos!

Also, I've never heard of emptying cartridges each night. I don't see why anyone would need to do that. I've been using the same cartridges since June and only VERY occasionally rinse the filler under the tap and blot with a paper towel to clean it. Seems like doing it every day would just be a waste of juice and time to me. Also, I hear Backwoods Brews makes a killer peach flavor.

Enjoy your new 'toy'!
