As for most of the discussion, I think we simply disagree. I find reduced harm versus reduced harm to be a better equation than reduced harm versus full harm.
As for the meaning of the term "whole tobacco alkaloids", you're talking to the person who coined the term and created the product, so I can say with confidence that you've got zero wiggle room on this point. Tobacco alkaloids are present in tobacco. Whole tobacco alkaloids refers to the liquid that is obtained after extracting tobacco alkaloids from tobacco and purifying them from the co-extracted gunk. A whole tobacco alkaloid eliquid is then an eliquid produced using this purified alkaloid liquid as the alkaloid source. This is unarguably so because that's what I meant when I coined the WTA term. If folks misunderstand the term and it's proper usage (and a lot of folks do), that doesn't serve to redefine the term.
Just as it would be wrong to say, "Tobacco contains cigarettes", it is equally wrong to say, "Tobacco contains WTA". Both cigarettes and WTA are products produced from tobacco. One tends to kill people, the other doesn't.
