Thanks to everyone here that rants and raves about variable voltage. Almost an entire year in, and just now I am trying it. Even 0 nicotine is yummy. Now I have to get everything swapped over to vv. After the past couple weeks of issues.....ah sweet relief lol. Thanks again :)

It is great isn't it!

Next step: A well built Low res rba on a Mech. You'll be amazed!

Just a friendly warning: research about batterie safety if you are going to do that.

I am grateful that 900 mah eGos kept me happy for so long. Dropping the nicotine from 11-12 down to 6 mgs & 0 mgs, proved to be a huge challenge. It's odd 18 mg to 11 mg wasn't too bad. This is nice :)
Steam Turbine, maybe an rba some day. When it feels like I am making a huge effort with that kind of stuff....well I get annoyed lol. There is a huge tank of a car in the back yard. It doesn't like me cheating on it. Working on other metal things makes her jealous ;)

Ain't that the truth. Even though I've been vaping nine months now, in some ways, I feel like I'm just getting started. I ordered my first eGo Twist about 4 (maybe 5..?) months ago, and now I own three Twists, three Spinners, and an eGo-V v2. And I'm still eyeballing an eVic. I can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing. But one thing's for sure, once you go VV, you never want to go back! :)

I drain a 900 mah eGo in maybe two hours.

Wow! My 900mAh ego lasts at least half a day, usually more. How much juice do you go through in a day?

Also, with a vv, you can use a higher resistance head at a higher voltage and the battery will last longer than the comparable voltage on a lower resistance. Fires slower but saves battery.

Sent from my phone, please excuse typos.

If you use higher a resistance carto you will get less vapor and flavor unless you raise the volts. In that case you are using the same amount of power and your battery will last or deplete in the same amount of time.

The more power a battery sends to the coil the more juice that can be vaporized.
power = watts
More volts = more watts = more hit, vapor and flavor.
Lower ohms = more watts = more hit and vapor and flavor.

With the same voltage you will get a lot more hit and smoke with a 2.0 ohm cartomizer than with a 3.0 ohm cartomizer. Low ohm cartos also need to wick fast enough to keep up with the larger amount of juice being vaporized.

Here is calculator to find the amount of power or watts you are using.

I have only been vaping for a month. Before I bought anything I did a lot of research. The first this I googled was e-cig forum, because I knew if there was a forum there would be plenty of info. It lead me here and I read about a lot of people upgrading to VV. So that is were I decided to start. I got a starter kit with a 1300 mah spinner and a 1000 mah spinner. I am very happy with both of them. I use different vaoltages for different flavors.

You'll be hitting the same watts, but less amps. Less amps used = more battery life.

I skipped the spinners and twists. Mostly because I drain a 900 mah eGo in maybe two hours. I am for sure getting a twist for my aunt. She gets over a day out of a 650 mah! This is such a relief after such a bad week. Btw how is the second half of a twist? Do they start dropping power quickly?

I usually get the standard 5-6 hours out of my 650s, with moderate to heavy vaping, whether it's a Spinner or Twist. My 1300 Spinner..you can't kill that thing. Not that I'm complaining.

I skipped the spinners and twists as well. I love my ego batteries but it annoys me to no end the waste in having to throw out the whole thing when the battery built into it dies. At least with a big battery device like the Vamo or any number of others I can replace just the battery.

Right now I am using an itaste MVP. Got about 8 hours out of it before a charge. Using iclear 16 clearos around 4 volts. I already love carto tanks the most, and need to restock cartomizers for my tank.The provari is next. I hate spending money, but I want something the batteries can be swapped in. Plus if I need repairs provape is just a couple hours away.Thanks for the input on the twist. I will pass it on to my aunt. For the twist users: what's you're favorite juice delivery for those things?

I hear you there. Get kind of sick to my stomach thinking about it my self. Tossing quite a bit of materials. There are some recycling options though.

Around here it is much easier to recycle an 18650 than an ego. The battery place here doesn't know what an ego is.

It also is a cost advantage. A $10 18650 vs a $20 genuine Joyetech ego?

Watts = amps x time
It is watts that will detemine how long your battery lasts. The longer you vape the more watts you use. That is why you pay you electric bill in the number of killowatts you have used. The more watts you use the higher your bill.

I have a VOT variable voltage pass-through. I get about 240 "puffs" on it and it is supposed to be rated at 1100 mAh when fully charged. Disappointing but I can finally use my Pro Tank without whining! I have vaporleaf absinthe and about 1/3 of a tank of whatever was left in there from last mixtures and it is fabulous. But I love black licorice. I think I could eat liver if it was basted in this eliquid. Well, maybe it isn't THAT good.....

Next stop for me will be the VAMO V3 when I let myself spend more money. I am already chomping at the bit. I want (nay, NEED) a Raven's Nest and the VAMO. Is there a 12 step program for this affliction? If so, the first step will be admitting I have a problem and I am so not ready to do that!:evil:
