I love mood rings in the same fashion that I love the magic eight ball (and if I could have a mini one floating in a tank that I could actually USE, I'd buy one of those two.

Find a miniature magic eight ball for a tank that will float to the surface with the right answer on top.

I am working on the lava lamp tank for you, Anna. So many sites, so many things that a simple Google search doesn't find.
@jonboyusmc, who was last seen in ECF November of 2014, made the only lava tanks I can find info on online. Surely he can't be the only one who did. There are a couple of old threads here about it.

Okay, I think I tracked it down. Apparently, he hooked up with International Vapers Club and their domain was seized by FDA's Inspections, Compliance, Enforcement, and Criminal Investigations branch. That isn't a secret - it was posted on their Facebook page back in 2011. Why they would have done that is beyond me. Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason to those things and sometimes there are things we just don't know or aren't told. I know of a forum that was seized for Copyright Infraction or something like that which was total BS. If these lava tanks still exist, it is probably somewhere on the Darknet unless someone here has contact info.
His tanks were a type of the first Map tank. You can Google "Lava tank vape" and a picture will pop up. You can still get Map tanks.
I can't find anything that resembles the lava tanks using Map tank as a keyword. There are literally hundreds of photos of the lava tanks, all made by @jonboyusmc. It is too bad that something I am sure was beyond his control hurt what was a niche business, but one that attracted a lot of attention.
I am a researcher. It is what I do. Give me something to research and I will find whatever there is to find. Maybe I should change my username.
Anna wants a lava tank and I wanted to find one for her. That's what friends are for.
