Just got a K100. I put a ICR1350 in it and it wont fire. Tried different tanks. Fresh battery. Adjusted the teloscope to be sure button is reaching the battery. I only got it to fire once. It hit nicely. Other than that..No Luck! Any ideas?

Not a clue. My new K100 works perfectly. Did you take it apart and inspect the contacts and the spring? Something isnt right. It's just a metal tube and contacts. Perhaps the 510 connection isnt seating or touching properly. A very short list of things that can fail on a mech.

Will try it again. Thanks for the reply. I here ya loud and clear, it's just a mech and has to be something I can fix. My only hang up was maybe someone was going to say I shouldn't be using an ICR batt in a mech. Here goes nothing..

You can use an ICR, but you should really think about getting a fuse. ...for any battery in a mech...better safe than sorry...I have a reusable vape2safe as well as a Kamry reusable fuse...

Yeah, a fuse when you use anything other than a protected battery. ICR's actually come in the kits they sell; not the best, but doing.

The newer K100 and k101s actually ship with the new Kamry fuse. Mine did not. I use AW IMRs in mine. No problem.

Sometimes the telescopic portion is a bit wonky; some have reported that if tightened too tight, their K100 will keep firing. The top positive pin sometimes moves. It's not a true floating pin.If the telescopic is too too, or too lose there's some firing issues. I had some, and wasn't certain if it was the telescoping part, the firing button, the battery or the topper device.

If you have a different battery, try that. Also try adjusting the telescoping or bottom cap. All devices seem to be a bit "fiddly" until you get to know their quirks.

I use a AGA T on my K100 with IMR batteries. I run sub ohm coils with no issues. ICR batteries put out less power and if pushed too hard the protection circuit in them will shut the batt down. There are some ICR batts that do not have protection built in. Using these is very dangerous. I would not use anything but a IMR battery in a mechanical mod. Just seems like the safest way to go. Using a fuse if you can is another layer of protection which is a great idea!
