Hi All,

I've been vaping since December 9, 2012 and have had fantastic luck with the Ego C Twists, Vamo and Provari. I just recently purchased a K100 and just got it in the mail today. I've tried everything I can think of to start it working and can't figure it out. I researched on ECF and Youtube, however can't find anything showing which way the battery goes in. I did find this link for how to place the kick, however having never used one before, still can't figure out if I'm putting it on correctly:blush: All I know is that it's not vaping.

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks in advance!

battery can go in anyway if you aren't using a kick. if you are using a kick the positive goes to positive of the kick and the other side can be towards the 510 connector.

This is a telescoping mod so depending on what battery you are using, if it is an 18500 or 18350 it might have to be retracted all the way down ish. if it's an 18650 it will be telescoped all the way out ish.

Not sure what to check in the 510 connection...but I don't see anything. I tried the atomizer on my Provari and it works perfectly.

I'll see if I can research how to troubleshoot the 510 connection. BTW, thank you so much for helping me! I'm being very careful as I don't want this thing to blow up on me!

I tried a freshly charged battery and it reads at 4.0v on my Provari. I didn't see any debris on the 510 connection...it's brand new so I wouldn't expect there to be anything in it. When I screw on the Atomizer, it doesn't look like it goes all the way down. I know you are not supposed to tighten all the way down. I did try a CE5 Clearomizer on it and it worked for a few minutes, until it burned the wick on the clearo.

Correct to not over-tighten the clearo and the battery too. As for the clearo wick burning up, you got to make sure the wick is soaked with juice before firing (tilting in once in a while to soak again). Mechs are not regulated so you will get a lot of power that could pop a coil too. Or burn the juice fast.

This leads me to believe it may be the atomizer you were using at first. If the only problem you had with the clearo was a burnt wick, then the atty may be bad... but I would still wait for other members suggestions just in case.

Oops! Forgot to check my liquid amount in my clearo before vaping...it was too low. Tried again with a fresh clearo and it worked. Also tried with my Phoenix RBA and it hits like a champ! I wonder why the atty it came with causes the battery to get hot...or makes it not work at all, when it works on my Provari? Very odd...but thanks everyone for all of your help! I'm going to search for some new atty's as I love the look with the sleeve on it and see if that will help.
