FWIW, I just got my K100 yesterday and I've got an 18350 Efest in it. I've used a standard carto with the drip shield (I love that look and am planning on getting a HH357 atomizer later this month) and a cheapo Squid knockoff from fasttech. The spring is plenty stiff so far. But again, it's brand new.

I'm diggin it a LOT. I re-coiled the wick that came in the Squid. It was a 2.-something and now it's a 1.8. Working great, especially once I remembered to seat the air hole in front of the coil. Derp. Go me.

yow that looks wicked! good job!
what is it?

I just pre-ordered a triple post iGo something or other... from kidneypuncher. duals are the way to go.

for large pics you can sign up on photo bucket and they do all the work for you; just hit upload and drag your photo onto the box, then click any of 3 different ways to share it... i just hit IMG and it copies, so i just paste into the post here... huge.

smoktech rda, 2 loops of wick on each coil, the top slides perfectly over the loops and drip!

thats a nice set-up bro! What video did you learn that tie/wrap?

no video i just wanted something without wicks sticking out everywhere that i have to force back in the top without getting juice everywhere. and thats what i came up with. just wrap the wick around your finger twice, and at the bottom where all three meet just wrap your coil and you can pull the loops tighter or larger depending on how big you want them. i havent seen it before but im sure its been done, works pretty well tho with no mess

I am really trying to show restraint on getting another, I really like my k100...my igo-l rocks on this and so does the nimbus. But honestly, getting more use out of my igo-l. I like my 18350 in there, good thing I stocked up. I call my 'champagne' one brass. :)

How often do you switch through ur 18350 batteries for lets say 1 day? And what ohms is ur igo l on?

Im highly considering getting the k100 for my first mech mod along with an Igo L for my first RDA!! Super stoked, as I have been using cartomizers for as long as I can remember and the taste and vape production just ain't cutting it anymore!

I have 2 18350 efest IMR's that I used to use on my Vamo (which is now broken) and don't really wanna use the k100 in long mode (18650)!

With the k100 I would go though 2 efest imr 18350s running on my igo-l with a 1.3 coil will last a full day I vape about 15 vapes every 45 minutes give or take.

1.3 coil?! what the heck why? do u get nice vapor? I feel like to fully optimize 1 18350 you would NEED to go with a subohm coil. Just my opinion though.

Depending on your setup, a 1.3ohm coil can work wonders on a good mech. K100, especially if you expose the brass on the contacts, performs really well.

The question is: Do we want to maximize the vapor or the pleasure? If you are getting your nick craving taken care of, a nice full vapor and the throat hit you want, that is it IMHO.

As long as you get those fulfilled, a higher resistance will give you:
- Better safety (especially those 18350's are not the highest AMP batteries)
- Better battery life (This is two-fold. First, the overall efficiency is better with a lower current. Second, when you generate X times more vapor I don't think your absorption gets the same X increase. So you are probably wasting some of that heat, and juice)
- Less juice consumption. (See above:)

Just my opinions. Wanted to share. :)

gotta love the k100 + igo-l setup. my setup is dual coil that comes out to 0.3 ohms. what gauge coil do you use, if you dont mind me asking?

when building dual coils i had to use 32 .6-8ohm, which eventually popped. i tried 28 and it came out to .3ohm and was to harsh for me. so im guna order some 30 and that might do the trick for me.
