The coil may be wrapped around the wick way too tight.

Perhaps try pulling out one or two thread of the wick to increase the gap so the juice flows better?

Tight coil around wick = bad juice flow = excessive temperature = carbon build up.
Apply a slight gap between the coil and wick = better flow, less carbon build up.

actually I was wrong. threw out some bvc's too early. they last a crazy long time. so much for my kanger kills aspire threads. the bvc is in a new league I am sure kanger will have an answer for this as well. have not touched a rba/rda in over a week. imo, it's that good. the flavor is superior. the volume is maybe a little lite. not for cloud chasers.
