You would be a great candidate to give the BVC coil on a Nautilus a spin to compare. I'm not saying you'll be ready to chuck your reo or you'll be as impressed as many of us, but I'd be surprised if you weren't just a wee bit impressed.
Actually, I've been vaping the wife's Nautilus mini with BVC on and off since Friday (we went camping and I was foolishly without batteries for the reo for a time). I am impressed, and not just a wee bit - hands down the best clearo factory coil I've ever tried (and I've been along for the coil wars).
The performance is comparable to a kayfun for vapor and flavour, something nobody would have suggested with any previous coil, kanger, aspire, or otherwise. She's been getting about a week with the BDC's in her regular sized Nautilus, so anything longer than that would be upside.
I've been using one of my ADV's at 18 Watts on a VaporShark rDNA 30. The vapor is prodigious and the flavour, as I say, is very, very good.
Now, how does it compare to the reo? Close... but second. I've had time to dial in my exact preferred vape with the reo and it's not very different, just a bit more flavour and vapor than the BVC. It's a little bit apples and oranges - I typically run dual micros netting out at .4 ohms on the reo - and I could use some more time experimenting with power running the BVC, but there you have it. I'm not a cloud chaser and prefer mouth to lung hits, not direct lung draws, and that's where the Nautilus/BVC will fall behind - "extreme" vapers will find an RDA more satisfying.
The reo is still more versatile (I run 3 different builds for different juices and vape styles to suit my mood - the experience is quite different for each), the coils last very long for <$.07 each, and it's never let me down the way clearos have (leaking, gurgling). Plus, as I say, the vape is a notch (maybe a notch and a half) better.
The reo will also still be operational 5 years after any vapocalypse (any bits and bobs that will wear out can be bought from the manufacturer cheaply and install in minutes - I have a stockpile).
The BVC, though, is a very good thing. This is the first coil unit that I wouldn't roll my eyes at and say "Oh, it's a factory clearo (sigh)". If you like plug and play above all else, I'd say this is the current high bar.
