Though I have still not found a use for a regulated vape in my life, I am sure this will tick a few boxes for some that want a cheap beater regulated bottom feeder. I just don't understand why it has to be so big!! I pocket my Reo's all day long and most of the time have to check to make sure I have it with me, but carrying this thing would be real bulky... What are these Mfg's thinking????
My conversion will not be traveling other than to a neighbor's house. I don't see how people tow an rx200 with a tank on it around all day. Mine's only 2 batteries and a RDA and weighs a ton. Not to mention a spare bottle of liquid.

That's what I love about the REO and the CC and even the dripbox. Fresh battery, full bottle, and you're set for the day. Still don't trust the dripbox's little bit of electronics but, proven reliable so far. Still anything wrong with either of the other two is easily repairable and they're very pocket friendly.

A quick update since I’ve been using it as my main device for almost a week. With the exception of the included atty, am happy with it. Zero leaks, zero misfires, all attys I’ve tried fit well, and there’s more than enough power. A slight delay when firing but nothing that is irritating. Battery life has been decent – no better or worse than any other dual 18650 mod I have.

The biggest overall con is that it’s not ideal for TC. Tried a variety of builds and so far am finding Ni and Ti on the Kbox 160 to be about the same as it is on the Kbox 200/120: very sub-par compared with Evolv and Yihi and a little worse than Joyetech and Smok. Kanger handles SS a bit better but still lags the competition. The lack of TCR and not being able to set wattage/Joules in TC mode means, for me, that this is only going to be used in wattage mode and “pseudo TC” with Nichrome. That’s not a big enough con for me to stop me from getting another one (waiting to see what the silver looks like in real life).

I’ve tried enough builds on the Kanger atty to give it a thumbs down for my needs. Hate the airflow, it lacks flavor, is prone to spitting, and I just don’t care for the overall look/feel. I won’t toss it, but it’s not going to see much use. Let me put it this way: if Kanger released a Kbox 160 that did not include the atty and was priced just 50 cents less than a kit with the atty, I’d go for the cheaper option.

I can't fault you on the last paragraph. The atty needs a lot of "love" for sure! I just have the standard Dripbox, close enough IMO. Getting the coils up, WAY up, even with the tops of the grub screws, and out towards the air inlets, helps, but it's just not that adjustable. You either get a crazy lung hit, or a partial lung hit. I've tried a Chalice III clone on it, awesome, but it's a juice fiend, and a Velocity mini clone. As it is, the Velocity is much better than the stock atty. You have a lot more adjust ability with it. The Chalice, while it's an awesome piece, be prepared to feed it! I killed 6ml in two hours, with 36mg juice!

Yeah Vaping biker just did a review on it.
If it just had a good 510 I would prolly get one.
My NarDa would do nicely on there.
Or my Velocity Mini.
Well IMO, whatever that is worth, the original Dripbox had a decent 510, I can't imagine, or understand, the need to change it? But, once again, it is Kangertech! Not that I wanted this mod anyways, but why do you need to :censored: with something that works?
I assure you, I'm not a Kanger fan boy, but that stupid Dripbox just worked! It was genius in it's simplicity! I can't understand this, sorry.

Like I previously mentioned I wish kanger would've made a baby step on the mod and giant leap on the rda. It's wayyyy to heavy to be a daily driver..... On second thought that's exactly where it belongs and where I'll probably keep mine, in my vehicle. I don't wear baggy pants but for those of you that do, be prepared to be picking your pants up off the ground.... Lol. They really needed to just improve the board and put a fixed 510 in it .. The original DB is soo tiny (good thing) that kanger had room to play with the width and depth.....tbh I really should have considered the size and thought about how HEAVY my HEXOHM Is without a bottle of juice and a board in it....... 2 18650's add alot of weight if you're looking for a pocketable mod!
So what I'm basically saying is...... that's its FRICKIN HEAVY ! And I see myself reaching for my original DB more and more (with my weak hand because my dominate hand has a Reo grand attached to it) ..... Unless I'm taking a road trip where I can get a workout in...... doing DB 160 curls...lol.

I have a couple of the 50w Topbox mini mods I got for around $20 each. Been using one of them in all day use for over 6 months and not a glitch yet.
Not a Kanger fan boy but I do like their V2 Subtank mini's.

per reviews a lot of other BF attys will not work on the Dripbox 160 due to the fixed 510 pin.
It's the same 510 as on the dripbox I'm sure. Fixed with some travel. Given the RDA again I doubt they redesigned the 510 and the bottle/feed system. It's fine and works with most attys without issue. Longer 510s may press it in. If that happens it may fail to contact a different shorter 510. Just gently pull the positive pin back up and you're good...

There is no vv/vw adjustment so you have to build to suit the mod which Is limited to .28-.32 sub ohm builds alienating a huge demographic of vapers who vape at 1.0 ohm or higher for better battery performance .....also if you remember the *old ego batteries or even the *first reos grands, with these fixed 510 connections.... They can be pushed down permanently with different Atomizers with varying post depth and you can end up with connection issues..... Then you have to do surgery to get that 510 back to its original position..... pita..... Been there, don't think we should be going backwards. I haven't seen SPRING LOADED 510'S on sqounkers but an adjustment screw, like the new reos would do just fine (if the adjustment screw is reverse threaded- mistake with the first few reos) ...... Also my bottle cracked from normal use and sprung a leak inside my DB, which took me awhile to troubleshoot it. The new DB 160 which HAVE SOFTER BOTTLES but sliding it down for refilling can be an issue because of it being softer?!

And of course I'd pay more for this.... even though China will use chromed brass call it stainless steel and use lead paint while grossly under paying their labor force... Jk....... or am I? Lol

Do you know if the 160W 510 Assemble is different from the Original DripBox? Because I'm using an Original DripBox and I'm not having any problems with it.

In fact, it has become one of my Main Mods that I use while at Home.
