Hello all!
Would love some help.
I started on the kanger evod. I still love it for the vape and the size.
I decided to get the vision spinner two with an emow tank.
While I like the variable voltage, the dual coil tank really doesn't seem to be giving me 'much ' more vapor than my plain old evod.
And I REALLY prefer the small size of the evod.
Just watched some videos of the Joytech ego 1. LOVE the small size.
Would I see an improvement in flavor and vapor from my plain kanger evod?
Many thx for your advice

Yes. Yes. Yes.. um... Yes.

I'm not buying an eGo ONE, because to me, it's all about the tank, not the battery.

If I want that sort of vape, I'l just buy the tank.

EMOW is dual coil... I think we are coming to the decision the Kanger dual coil phase was a something of a lose-lose on most eGo batteries, even VV ones.

Thx Dampmop. That's just what I wanted to know.
As far as filling and maintaince.. Is it just as easy as my evod? I'm a little concerned with some of the videos I've seen on it with filling. Seems to be more difficult as far as filling and people are using syringes.
And I am also confused about the coil differences. One being and lung hit, and one being lung to mouth. Which is closer to my kanger?

Filling-wise, it's just as easy as the EVOD. The only catch is the chimney is a bit close to the side of the tank, so it can be a squeeze to get your juice down there. There is some space at the top though, so you don't really need to squeeze the tip of your juice bottle between the chimney and side if you don't want. There's enough space to drip in to it with a dropper. Just gotta be careful your juice goes down the right hole. If you have full mobility in your hands, it's fine. Wouldn't recommend it to someone who didn't though.

For the coils, the 1 Ohm on the tightest setting is tighter than a cig and way tighter than the EVOD haha. On the loosest, it's nice and airy, but not so much that you can't mouth to lung anymore. I don't think you can straight to lung very well on the 1 Ohm though, unless you have super lungs. Having tried it, the 0.5 Ohm coil is way too airy for mouth to lung on the highest airflow setting imo, but you can still mouth to lung it on ~5 - 30% airflow.

The clear drip tip is also a wider bore than the metal one, so you get a bit of added control there.

Compared to the EVOD, imo the equivalent is either 1 Ohm coil at 20% open or the 0.5 Ohm coil at 5-6% open - that's with the clear drip tip. I haven't tried the metal one. Metal and teeth  Not my thing.

Edited - Corrected all 100 mistakes. Derp.

Thx so much. I just took the leap! One more quick question. I use 18mg nicotine with all my juices in the evod. It is just right.
Will this be too high on the joytech, as I assume I'll be getting much more vapor?.. and should I drop down to 12mg for it.. or will it be pretty much the ok?..

The hit you get from 18 will be much harder in the Ego One. I tried dropping to 12 myself, but decided to stick with the 18 on the 1 Ohm coil. Maybe have some 12 as a standby, especially if you like the 0.5 Ohm. It'll be down to preference ultimately, but 18mg/ml is not unreasonably strong imo - just much more so than in the EVOD.

Dampmop,
Just got my joy tech ego one. Omg. What a difference from the Kanger evod . It's like tasting these e juice flavors for the first time. And your recommended settings were dead on the mark. Again .. thx so much

That's great man, grats on the new gear :) Glad it was helpful. I actually had to give away an Apple flavour I was using in my EVOD because it was too strong in the Ego ONE. My neighbour was appreciative at least.

Lovely and smooth isn't it? Did you go with the 1 Ohm?

Just to add, the light stays on when charging. The manual is correct, but the US Joyetech site seems to think it's supposed to flash.

Yep! The 1 ohm, at about 20% open. (You were right. Just like the evod inhale ..but a million times better! ) Don't even really have any desire at the moment to try the .5 as the 1ohm is just so perfect .
What a night and day difference from the evod. ( though I still think the evod is a teriffic first device).
But all these complex eliquids I use. (Five Pawns, velvet Cloud) ..I had no idea what I'd been missing till now.
Thx so much again for your great help!
