My mom and I have had terrible luck out of Kanger EVOD tanks! They will not quit leaking! We have been through at least 10 between the two of us and obviously it's getting expensive. At first they are ok and then a few minutes after use there it goes....drinking liquid! We tighten the coils down and everything! Help! Any one else having this much trouble?

I have never had an EVOD but I have had other kangers. I haven't had good luck with the cheaper kanger tanks. I have a t2 and a t3 and they both leaked like crazy. when the juice gets too low they leak and when you over tighten them they leak. I spent so much money on new coils and tanks and finally I gave in and bought the kanger pro tank. I have had it for a month and have had no leaks or problems at all. it hits AWESOME and I love it. hope you get it figured out but if not, maybe consider spending a little extra to get something that's going to last.

that's just seems awful weird--you say "drinking" so you mean when you draw on it, fluid is coming up the tube into your mouth ?
only thing that stops that would be the big silicone cup gasket that sits at the bottom on the long chimney stem inside.(it's there?)

Are the coils new, your not rebuilding them at this time ?
1]screw new coil into base
2]fill tank (getting none in center air tube)
3]screw base w/coil onto tank w/fluid upside down
4]turn right side up allow time for wick to soak up fluid
5]vape face off

as far as 'leaking' only 3 ways to get out of the tank
1.coil - o ring on bottom or thru the wicks
2.tank - o ring on base
3.mouthpiece - silicone cup on top of coil or thru wick, up chimney into air passage into mouth

the evod is awesome (I got more than 8 of them in rotation) figure it out, you wont be sorry :)

New to this gig too and have splashed out on some kanger evods and seeing the exact same thing.
at least 2 of the 3 purchased. Only tried the 2 thus far.
They will work ok for a short while and then the gurgling starts and they leak at a fair rate.
I've tried adjusting the head / standard wicks etc with no luck. I've got some wicks etc on their way so will try them when they arrive and report back to you.

I'm getting liquid in the battery connection and in my mouth when I draw.
You go through the liquid at a rate of knots.

I have at least found if I draw slower it reduces the issue slightly and put it down for a few minutes between vapes. Not ideal but it improves a little.

There are a few things you need to remember when using a T3 or an eVod or a ProTank:

1) Make sure that the atomizer coil is screwed into the base tightly--every time you refill; they often come not fully tightened from the manufacturer, or may have gotten loose through repeated refills.

2) Look at all the inner seals and gaskets to make sure they haven't become dislodged.

3) Make sure that you screw the tank into its base tightly. If it's not tight, it will leak.

4) When you screw your clearomizer into your battery, do not overtighten--screw it in only until it makes contact--no farther, or you may push the center post in too deep and cause all kinds of problems, including leaking. When the draw becomes tight or the taste and vapor production begin to diminish, replace the coil. This will happen sooner (even as soon as one day of heavy use) if you're using dark, viscous, or very sweet juices. The old coil can be cleaned and dry burned.

5) Make sure you're not getting any juice in the center tube when you're filling--this will cause your eVod to leak like a sieve. If some juice gets into the tube, close the top cap, place a tissue under your tank and blow gently through the clearomizer to get rid of any excess eliquid. Also, extra condensation inside the tank may, on some occasions, drip back into the center tube. Wipe your mouthpiece dry with a q-tip or a tissue when you refill (or more often when/if needed).

6) Take an occasional "primer puff" (a slow draw without activating the battery) when you vape. It helps move the juice into the coil chamber and removes any air bubbles that sometimes form in the tank and may cause gurgling or impede proper wicking.

7) Take slow long draws rather than sharp and quick ones like we used to do while smoking cigarettes.

and last but not least

8) Do not remove any flavor wicks if you're experiencing any leaking or flooding. Those wicks are there for a reason. If you feel that you have to remove a wick because your eliquid is particularly thick, do it carefully--one strand at a time.

Good luck and happy vaping!

More power if running a VV battery and do NOT draw like it is a cigarette. Straw effect will pull WAY to much liquid through the wicks.
Lighter/longer draws work best.
Hard draw = lower pressure in the tube - this causes liquid to move to equalize pressure(Least path of resistance). Gravity causes liquid to settle(Down tube) Tube becomes more restricted. This increases fluid exchange.
Kanger is not actually leaking, it is being pumped dry.:)

Check this website out. Sounds like you use another rubber piece and flip it over.

How To: Fix Kanger EVOD leaking/gurgling issues | Deus Ex Vaporis

You tube video too, someone else saying same thing. Fix to the gurgling leaking EVOD - YouTube

Just reporting back as I was experiencing the same issues as the OP and THIS ^^ sorted mine out.
I'd already seen it on youtube when researching the evods but thought the issue was a long term use thing, not an out of the box issue.
Being a new user though, I don't have a ready supply of these silicone cups and figure you can't buy them on their own.
Correct me if I'm wrong and you can though :) ...please tell me I'm wrong.
If I'm right, I just paid 18 bucks for 3 of them to only be able to use one as I needed to scrounge the cap the other.
I seriously won't be happy if thats the case and will go spend 2bucks50 odd from fasttech for the cheapies.. or buy the 5 pack for like 12 bucks.

FYI, I did all of the above and suggested tips with no better result. My fluid was either coming up the tube or out onto my battery.
Primer puffs of even of the lightest nature saw a heap of juice run out into the battery or onto the paper towel when trying to sort the flooding......and it just kept coming.
Hope this helps OP.

I had trouble with those tanks, until the vape shop guy showed me the trick.

When you fill, make sure you remove and thoroughly dry the metal pieces at the end - unscrew the wick and the round piece and wipe both of those dry. Blow through the wick to get any oil out.
I run them under the faucet and dry if possible.

Screw the wick back onto the round piece, as tight as you can with your fingers.

Use a q tip to wipe the upper inside of the tank, around the edges above the middle hole and on top of the metal hole. Then, screw the assembled end pieces onto the bottom of the tank, just until it's tight.

Doing this, I haven't had any leaks since then.

Yeah I feel like an idiot when it comes to the EVODs because everything is in place correctly and the liquid is still coming through the tube. I've followed these steps before with prior advice and they always leak. Oh well I guess lol.

Yes denmonkey! Exactly my problems!

Yea this seems to work nicely for me. Pretty good practice for most clearomizers like this from my experience. We'll see how they last over time though.
