Kanger - Ignoring replacement coil insulator market

I recently emailed sales@sz-kanger.com requesting price quotes on replacement coil insulators in both 1,000-qty and 10,000-qty.

They replied:

sorry that we don't sell that part, pls search on alibaba.

We look forward to being back with you soon.

Manufacturers of quality hardware have always backed their products with replacement parts.
It appears that Kangertech's posture is:
"We don't want vapers rebuilding coils. We want them buying new ones"

The few US suppliers that offer compatible grommets are charging anywhere from .50 - $1.00 for what they have,
in a market where complete replacement coils can be had for $1.00 each.

I believe that ignoring their customers who wish to rebuild coils will cost Kangertech more business in the long run.
The fact that they refer the people who inquire to AliBaba rather than their OEM supplier is proof positive that they don't give a ****.

I trust that Kangertech feels they are making enough money, and will continue to do so, without getting into the pain in the .... parts market.

If they get into selling spare parts they will lose business selling the whole coil. They know we are wrapping our own and if they help with that they will shoot themselves in the foot.

Doing a group order for $0.05 insulators would probably serve as a good lesson in why those "evil" ebay vendors want a dollar or two for packaging, writing address labels and shipping off 5-10 insulators at a time.
