However, like all ss tips (which I primarily use) one must remember to wipe them off frequently. A member (who I shall never forgive, since I can't get it out of my mind) once referred to the phenomenon as "lip boogers."

Lip boogers? That brings only one word to my mind: ewwww! Vomit.png

DV was sold out this morning.

Wow...that was pretty quick. I ordered a couple boxes of coils yesterday.....and went ahead and grabbed another PT so I'd have one for RY4 and one for Boba's......there were 34 in stock at 5:00 pm CDT.

I ordered direct from Kanger. Two duds! Kanger has replaced them and although they definitely out perform my Vision Vivi Novas -- but not for long. They flood like crazy. And early. Perhaps 1/2 ml and I have to tear them down.
But when they get the kinks worked out, this is going to be one fine tank!

Did you take out any of the wicks..

I just rebuilt one of the coils, was getting a slightly odd taste.
Did it just like the T3's. 4 1mm silica wicks, 4 turns of 32awg kanthal wire and 1 flavor wick. (use 2 flavor wicks in the T3's but was afraid of choking the wicking)
This tightened up the draw just a bit and the TH & flavor are 80% better. Reeeealy liking the Pro Tank now!! :)

I stick a toothpick in one of the air holes and break it off! :D

Mine doesn't seem to like having the airflow restricted, so I've gotten used to it. One thing I have found really cool, is that the mouthpiece is the perfect size to stick a q-tip in when refilling and no juice gets in the tube.

Interesting. What wattage are you at with your ProTank?

I have a box of Kleenex in almost every room in my house since I started vaping...

The head is reading at 2.7Ω and it's at 4.3v. I dial around for what tastes good, and anything over 7w it's tastes burnt to me with the Protank (I've only used the one head). Someone told me that BCs can be like that, and I have noticed my CE3s like it lower, so I guess that makes sense.

I'm surprised that ProTank doesn't offer different ohm'ed coils. All other Kanger clearos come with replaceable coil ranging from 1.5Ω to 2.8Ω, if remember correctly.

They do. I'm still using the first one I grabbed out of the box, and the other one is different, but I don't remember if I even looked at what the resistance was. I ordered replacement heads and I think there were 3 choices.

ETA: I use paper towels for blotting and wet wipes for my hands. :D

Oops...

I looked around--they are offering different resistances now. :p
