Sounded great but I must have the wrong kind of cover... Used one of the silicon jobbies that came with a box of joyego carts and it just slips off when I try to draw off it. enlarged and used your image as a guide.

Very valid point. If I may suggest something. It's probably not the best idea to leave any APV battery in that kind of heat for safety reasons.

That said, I took a condom from a cartomizer and snipped a portion of the closed end off then slip it over the PT mouthpiece for comforts sake.

I did the same as Glen did, but yeah the condom slipped off. Sooooo, I just used a little dab of silicon sealer near the side of the P-tank tip, slipped the condom over it, and let it sit over night and it works great. Got it working on 3 PTs. doing just fine for a week and a half now. Just a thought.

Thank you, will get some sealer when I get a chance and have a go at it.

Yep. But do let it cure, I let mine go about 12 hours overnight to let it get 'set' pretty well. Also when it's cured there will probably not be any vinegar-y odor anymore. Anyway I have rinsed mine in warm water when they needed it without any problem. Shouldn't take a great gob of sealer, just enough to make a good connection and let it set up.

I did it because that metal drip tip was colder than my ex-mother-in-laws kiss, felt like I was suckin' an icicle.

I dunno guys. One of the great things about the original was its sleek, sexy appearance, great craftsmanship, and good performance. This new one looks cheap. The sexy look to it is gone. Looks like the kanger version of a Vivi nova. It fixes the drip tip issue, yes. It might fix leaking issues. Does it fix the loose draw?. Why would they have a mini in the old style and not the new? seems like a larger evod with the pro tank name to me...

The description says its made of iron, i guess no more brass why not stainless steel . I hope they fixed the semi dry harsh hit inconsistent hot spot coils and the the thin line between not wicking or flooding depending on juice level and air pressure.

I think it needs a larger wick and coil and get rid of the rubber insulator, it burns, maybe even a one way valve by the drip tip

how bout a rba protank bottom cap and short tank.

Fixed the draw (too loose for me) with a toothpick, broke it off in just one of the air holes and it was just right. Suppose ya could do two if ya like...

Imo this is the one to beat. different color glass options and tank colors. and it looks nicer than the PT2, but that's just my opinion also ;)

this is the one I want too. just waiting for a vendor to verify if the eVod / Protank coils are compatible. looks really similar but the coils in the description suggest they are specific to this tank. I have a few Protanks / eVods and a Puritank so it'd be nice if they use the same coil.

I use the same coils in my evod and my PT1. They are the 1.8 ohm coils that are the longer version (protank coils). I am of the understanding that the short evod coils are going away and switching to the PT.
