 same here.

Turns out my wife liked the looks, tried it, and wanted me to order a kangerpro for her. And the true gentleman I am, gave her mine as I ordered another for myself from another vendor. LOL. Think in a couple days I'll ask her how in the world she possibly bent her new tank. :)

lol...classic.....

I discovered the sound problem in the protank on the zmax I just got for free today. ... I believe it is caused by the pt not sitting completely flush on the device. ... sits completely flush on an evic and no noise with that

Yeah thats what would cause it, use the beauty ring or make sure its flush should avoid any sound

What beauty ring?

Mine came with a chrome metal ring to fit with eGo batteries so the thread doesn't show and creates a seamless fit, makes it look better but also tightens up the airflow.

Pretty sure they all come with one, will post a pic soon

Not sure if they changed anything but Monday I received 2 pro tanks in the plain box, not the fancy original box. Tried one without changing anything and so far (4 days in,) no issues. Wasn't sure if I would like the one piece top but took it out last night and kept it in my pocket. As the night went on I realized how it never came apart. Prior I used vivi nova's and at times the drip tip would come off, luckily the tip would be in my pocket. Now the pro tank is my go to for a night out, no leaks and no missing parts.

Don't know if it was a bad production run at their factory or what, but I've been disappointed with most all the Kanger products I've tried lately... T3, MT3, Protank, etc -- all airy, leaky, floody, gurgly, and on and on... Bad replacement heads straight out of factory sealed packaging and etc... Have retired all my Kanger stuff and reverted to my old tried and true, use it and lose it, generic CE4s... So far (over a week in) and not one problem with the one CE4 I've been using since!

I pre ordered 3 and since receiving them have not used anything else. No leaks, no dry hits and I run them almost dry between fills. 3 weeks so far on the same heads, just rinse under hot water and air dry overnight. Most of my juice is 60/40 or 70/30 pg/vg and I have not modified the tank in any way, running them on a Segelei zmax flat top telescope, usually at 7 w but I have cranked up to 10 w for the odd strong hit. My only hope is that in future models the drip tip will come in some option other than metal. Love it!! :headbang:

Someone can buy my protank off of me. It's beat. It sucks.

Make it work for you. I did, and it's all I've used for the past 10 days. I hated it at first, but wasn't about to throw away 50 bucks (2 tanks and a pack of heads). There are modifications here in this thread and elsewhere that can make it better. I just re-wicked mine yesterday with cheesecloth threads and that's working well too. Good luck..
