So i was driving down the road the other day, vaping out of my protank.. in wisconsin we have as many potholes as we do construction cones.. so i was driving down the freeway and hit one, protank smacked me in the teeth pretty good.

Not fun.
Solution was to take one of the rubber thingamajigs you get with the coils and cut a hole in it... i had to trim a little bit off the bottom too so it fit right but here she is! works great and pretty soft..lemme know what ya think!

Cant wait for my protank to arrive! >.< meanwhile ive been doing this with alot of my metal drip tipped atty and just to warn you. some of the cheaper made silicone covers will STILL TASTE RUBBERY even after being washed and prepped (gross). and even the good ones will SOMETIMES give off a weird taste when heated ( i chain vape hot- sometimes tips get warm). but yes this is great for letting people test out ecigs for the first time too

It works great for the most part about a week into it.. I love it so far!! I only let my girlfriend hit my tesla without it lol, if other people wanna try i got an extra!

Altron3k - you're gonna love it, the protank has fought its way to the top of my list, just dont drop it, you might scream!
The tips they came with dont smell or taste bad at all, i gave them a sniff and stuff before because i hate that smell/taste! it reminds me of water thats been sitting on a tarp all summer! YUK

A vape shop owner asked me the other day how I like the ProTank. My only complaint was the metal tip. I have tried one of the "friend" tips and that didn't fit right. I tried a plastic cover from a cartomizer on it, and that didn't fit right either. I am going to try one from the replacement coils. Great idea! Maybe I will truly love my tank after that.

Its helped me a lot! i almost put them away until the lightbulb turned on. now i just need to find an easy RBA to fiddle with and ill be set for a while.

Sad as it is, i dropped my protank today... the glass didnt break but the little threads that connect to the bottom piece popped off..

That's a good idea, but I have one that might be a little better if I may.
Get some latex surgical tubing, cut it to the size needed and slip it over the mouth piece. I think the cushioning effect would be better. I know you can buy some at Wally World in the pets supply section. It's used for fish tanks. If it works, and I think it will, you can go online and find all kinds of different colors. You can switch colors to what ever suits you. Kinda line having different tips. Good luck.

Another person somewhere posted that they used heat shrink wire wrap on the tip. Haven't tested it yet as I cracked mine and only got a replacement last night.

Other advantages for me are: the condom makes the mouthpiece more of a straight cylinder and makes it bigger. I had saved the coil covers from my 2 Protank packages for this exact purpose but wasn't inspired to actually do it until I read this thread just now. Great idea and works well.

To make the end even when you're cutting it, flatten it between your fingers.

make sure you pinch the tip as you roll it down on there LOL!! dont want any baby protanks running around!

as for the person who said they use them for friends. I also keep alchy wipes or some unscented hand sanitizer with me so I can wipe the tip off and sanitize it. Never fails someone wants to try it and I dont have protection!

ive used two small pieces of heat shrink tubing and then slid a carto condom with the tip cut off over that, keeps the rubber "thingamajig" in place had problems with it coming off on mine so the heat shrink gives it the added thickness to grip pretty good

My condom slipped off.... no wait... I mean it wasn't big enough and I broke it... yeah, that's the ticket.
