Hello,

I just recently got a Kanger Protank as I've been looking for something better than the standard CE4 clearomizers that I've been using. I must say I really enjoy the protank (thanks for the recommendation from the members here!) My question is, can I leave the protank laying on its side when it's filled with liquid or is that not good for it somehow or the other? It's very cumbersome to try and keep it sitting up right on a skinny battery.

This is actually a question I would like to know the answer to as well. My protank hasn't arrived yet but I will be using it on an ego-c battery for some time before I can afford a vamo.

If it is not ok to lay down on its side I guess I will just use a tall plastic drinking glass (junky cheap one I can throw out later) to help keep the rig mostly upright. :p

I don't know the answer to your question but I did the exact same thing - ordered a Protank to upgrade from CE4 based on the enthusiastic reviews here. And I'm also from Florida.

Thus far I find the Protank to be a bit of a tease. It's beautiful - I love the way it looks - but airy. Way, way too airy on the draw. I took the advice of other commenters on another thread and put a band-aid over three of the airholes, which helps. But I still find it too airy. Honestly, I prefer the vape I get from the CE4s, though I don't hate the Protank. I'm just a bit disappointed.

I have a few ProTanks and like them very much. If the airy-ness is a problem then I would have to say you've probably never used any delivery device that is like trying to suck a golfball through a soda straw. The ease of the draw is very pleasant to me.

They can be placed horizontally or any other position that is convenient for you. After all they have to be turned upside down to fill.

I'm waiting for my Kanger Protank atm. I've seen PBSUARDO's review of the tank and he seemed to like removing one of the three wicks for his preference.

As always I'm planning on trying it just as it is (I'm aware that many users claim that it's a very airy draw) and as needed, play with the wicks to see if I can get the flavor just right.

I feel like I've been lucky with mine:

Wicking beautifully (65pg/35vg juice) without removing a wick and producing really great vapor. I have kept mine laying on its side for quite some time without leaking, and no leaking out the center post (yet).

Of course, I've only been using it for about a week, but pretty constantly. Still on my first coil.

The airy-ness of the draw was a bit off-putting at first, but I've gotten used to it :)

Yup it does just fine on its side. But if your down to just a tiny bit of liquid and it's been laying on its side the wicks do seem to get a little dry. Just hold it upright for a min and lower your voltage a smig to make sure your not getting a dryish hit and you'll be right as rain. Gonna go order two more pro tanks so I'm never without my fav juices

Great posts showing love to the protank. I like mine, probably better than the vivi novas that I keep close to heart. Whoever posted the golf ball through a straw made me LOL. I like the draw of the tank, it feels smoother and easier, sticking within the numbers on the card inside the box I have gotten nothing but full great flavors, no burnt taste whatsoever. Never had one gurgle yet either, but I do tend to refill around a half a ml left.

I am so glad to see how many are liking the protank. Mine is supposed to arrive on Monday. I actually prefer an easier draw so it might be a good thing that it is a bit airy. I find my ego-C with the ego little cartridge tank that comes with rather tiring to puff on unless the atomizer is absolutely new. :p The CE5 clearomizer I picked up I enjoy MUCH more. SO much easier to draw on.

You give me hope!
