I know right? Things like this make me not want to ever order anything that is a kanger product.

Although I don't know the entire history of kanger, I've heard a lot of vendors stopped using them. I suppose they probably copy your design because they think it'll get them more business. The button doesn't mean anything if they still aren't making a good quality regulated battery.

Funny thing is, after talking to another vendor which swears up and down he buys from the same factory you do, yet his bats don't last as long as bloog or volt bats, I'm kinda thinking he's using kanger. A few days ago I contacted them and asked about these 808 bats and they told me "we can make rubberized finish to look just like bloog" LOL - They really want to copy you, and apparently other vendors do too. Competition is fine, but not when a vendor has to lie about it to customers and then they find out performance/life is NOT the same.

What's kinda funny is, the reflection still shows some word - but it doesn't look like Bloog. Even the Bloog picture's reflection doesn't look like it says Bloog (in wrong place, etc. for an actual reflection). Gotta love PhotoShop.

Just noticed that too, you have an even better eye than I do, although to me it does look like it says bloog, it's just not clear. My guess is that the people who did the photos or maybe someone at Bloog did it themselves, just ended up using the pic from the auto bat and shopped the manual one on there, because even the button looks kinda funny lol.

That is correct, the web designer just shopped a pic they took of an auto batt and added a button.

From the Urban Dictionary...

Kanged - To have one's developer code and work taken, manipulated, rebranded, and re-released by someone else with no credit.

Example: Ultimate Droid kanged CyanogenMod by taking CM's code, theming the ROM, and then re-releasing it without taking out CM-specific easter eggs, and stripping out the credit and changelog for the CyanogenMod developers.
