Kanger Subox & Subtank Mini problem

So I just had something strange happen. I got a battery from my local vape shop to use in my subox. I've never used the subox until today. I've been using it for the last 3 or 4 hours and am loving it. I went to take the dog out and brought it with me but when I tried vaping i got nothing out of it. Looking at the screen it was flashing 9.9ohms (i'm only using the .5 ohm that came with it, not the RDA just the stock atty). I tried vaping again and this time the battery flashed as empty (i just charged it and its still full). I took the subtank off and reattached it, tried again and everything is fine. Not sure whats going on.

I'm vaping at 35w, the coil is currently reading .6ohm and i'm using Max VG liquid.

if its flashing , it means your subtank is making no connection to the mod . Are you sure you are using a subtank ?

yeah I'm using the Subtank mini that came in the Subox Mini Kit

I have this combo. My resistance has gone up slightly when there was a bit of buildup on the 510 connector. A dab with q-tip fixed it. It got gunk fast perhaps because juice can collect down near the airholes, or between the glass and metal body, on mine anyway.

Also I have to be sure to adjust the airflow ring clockwise, to keep it from unscrewing the tank at all...but you probably figured both of these out

its not spring loaded mine make no connection ever. Bummer. What a piece of trash by kanger. We should vote to get a newwer version with spring loaded pins

I would take the tank off the mod and tighten up the coil. Alternately, check to see if your 510 positive pin is pushed down. If it is, try to life it up GENTLY with a small flat screwdriver. It could also be the positive pin in your tank (when you take the coil out, look straight down at the base. It'll be the pin there.)
