You then have the newest revision of the subtank mini(double air slots) which includes the newest revision of the rba deck(mini rba plus), which is an enhancement in every way and getting the older rba deck would be a downgrade.

Just wanted to be certain you knew that, and I apologize if you allready knew...

Many places have the rba deck sold standalone, and you just have to accuire them about if it's the v1 or v2, as you cannot always just go by pictures...

No I didn't know that.. Thank you for telling me this because I was going to email the vendor..

My question is those holes... I rebuilt it yesterday and threaded the cotton through the holes. Won't the whole thing get flooded with those holes open if they are'nt plugged up with cotton?

Yeah... You are going to need Some cotton in the 2 Holes of the RBA Barrel.

I Don't have this New Style RBA. I have the Old Style like is shown in your Video. But I have seen some Video's for the New Style RBA where they mount the Coil. The attach the RBA Barrel. And then push a Cotton wick thru one Hole in the RBA Barrel, thru the Coil, then out the Other hole in the RBA Barrel.

When this is Done. The Fluff the Wick by Gently pulling the Wick Back-n-Forth slightly a few times. Then they Trim the Cotton so it is Almost Flush with the Outside of the RBA Barrel.

I think you are just going to have to do some Experimenting to Find what Works Best for you though.

Awesome thanks for the describing the rebuild.. Next time I'll try to push the cotton through in one shot instead of threading each side through one at a time.

No Problem. Like I said, I don't have that Version of that RBA Section.

But this is what I have Seen/Read that people are Doing. It is also the Technique that people use when they Re-Build a Horizontal OCC Head.

And when think about it, the New Style RBA Sections with the Holes in the RBA Barrel is the Same Concept as the Horizontal OCC Heads.

I have both the new and old rba deck of the STM, and there are many ways to do it, but personally I just build the new deck just as I build all kayfun-style atty's, with the only change that I have the "bunny-ears" cut to be a little longer than usually, and then when I have lightly packed the cotton down the sides, then I don't fiddle with freeing up the sides "to see air" from the juice-channels anymore, since the cotton is supposed to be where it's at allready... No flooding and wicks great, whereas the old decks wasen't very good with high vg for most and hence, many drilled holes on the sides anyway...
