wow just realised i got ripped off. paid the price of a original for a clone. whats the recommended setting for subox with subtank mini?
It is normal. Your wick might be slightly thin, there was excess liquid on the coil itself that causes the spitback.
I removed the wire mesh from a strainer, those you can sieve out water from your veggies, cut out a small circle which will fit below your drip tip and its done! The spitbacks will be caught in the wiremesh so no liquid will travel to your mouth. For those who are doubtful that 1 piece of the wiremesh wont work, you can fit 2 pieces instead of one. Hope this helps.

wait. how are you guys getting all these leaking and spitting problems? I've never had any problems with mine. No leakages, no spitting. even with a vertical coil. Probably just user problem ba.

Given the price of the Subtank, I'm rather surprised at its performance.. Even my TF2 and Squape2 leaks more often than the Subtank! Two wks of non stop use and it only leak once, and very little too. (Hope I didn't just jinxed myself!)
I second that on the vertical coils. Flavour and cloud is awesome for an affordable tank. Much better airflow and no spitting for me with vertical coil. The coil remains clean for a longer period of time. But wicking vertical coil is a big headache. So far, never experience any leak on my V2 STM even when I have bad wicking and it goes tumbling around in my pocket.
With vertical coil, I was able to vape at higher wattage at around 40-45W on my Subox mini and gues what, burnt out the IR2 chip. That the reason for the X Cube II I'm currently using.
make sure you buy your subtank mini authentic instead of clone. anyway authentic v1 has problem too get the v2
some of the guys I know they prefer the older versions with a juice channels at the bottom... and I actually prefer the newer version where the weep holes are at the side. well to each of his or her preference then

As mentioned, here is the vertical coil tutorial. Juice channels at the side (weep holes), just need to add a little more cotton to cover the weep holes adequately but not too tightly packed (since cotton expands upon absorbing liquid, might constrict flow of juices in).
Hi guys.. Tried the vertical coiling.. But keeps getting dry hits after a while.. Tried putting small pcs also tried using less cotton.. Initially will be ok, and vapes very well. But if I chain vape or leave it sitting for a few hours dry hit will come, and I'm not even doing high W, bout 18w only?
Any ideas?
