This is a weird question but here goes.

My smok TFV4 mini was a HUGE disappointment and broke within a few days so I sent it back and ordered another Kanger Subtank Mini to use on my X cube mini (not a perfect combo I know but I love the mod so didn't want to send it back).

My Kanger Subtank Nano arrived today and I put it on to find it reading 2.25 ohms?! The strangest thing is, my friend had this issue just a few days ago using the same setup (0.5ohm OCC coil). Anyone know what's up with this?! Is it still safe to use?

Reset the coil in it's threading
Fire the mod with Tank off
Attach tank and quick fire to re-read coil

A coil misreading to the high side(if in fact misreading) will cause a Wattage output to be Much higher than the Screen reads.<<<<<<<<CAUTION!!!!

If in fact the coil is 2.5ohm, all is safe.

Coils are mass produced and often need to be checked for proper contact and no short - BEFORE actual use.

Managed to get it down to 0.68 ohms now after throughly cleaning both the tank 510 pin and the 510 connector on the X Cube with alcohol and a Q-tip. Thanks for the advice :)
