Okkk. I have been vaping for years. And I am starting to venture into modding and sub ohm vaping.

I currently have a istick 20w.

I have a istick 50w on pre order.

I have watched numerous review battles on the subtank vs Atlantis.

On most they say the subtank out tastes by far. And has somewhat of more vapor. Also has a bigger tank. Uses cotton wick vs a ceramic/fiber wick. Also isn't chrome plated on the inside. (subtank seems more healthy).

But the Atlantis is more sleek and is said to handle higher watts and can keep the wick saturated better in chain vapes and or long draws.

Also the subtank has the RDA head (could you build to take higher watts?)

If anyone has the 2 can you please enlighten me to your experiences with the 2 . And your pro's & cons. Thank you.

And im going with the istick 50w because I feel the quality/price and versatility is the best for the $$. And they "fixed" the connection/post/ and thread issues.

Also If anyone has any good dripper platforms for me to look into plz list.

Thank you again for your help and advice. Rich

I have both the only reason why I choose the Subtank is for the benefit that it is a RBA/Clero and it seem as if you did your research on both tanks. I can say personally if you dont need the RBA just wait for the mini or even the nano Subtank. As for performance its great the flavor is on point a little less vapor compare to the Alantis. My only complaint about this subtank is it tends to leak from the air holes alot of people have this issue. Alantis flavor is great but not as good as the subtank more vapor then the subtank I personally have no issue with this tank beside its a bit small but Aspire have release bigger version already. But really both tanks are great regardless which one you choose you will not be dissapointed. GL

My goal in upgrading is more vapor and taste. As most of us. And dripper platforms I mean actual drippers. Good ones to build from.

And I think I am going to roll with the subtank. I like the organic cotton wick over the ceramic. Fiber material (looks like insulation) wonder if your could rewick the head in the Atlantis.

Ive always been a kanger fan. I think im sold on the subtank. I will also take a look at the delta II. Thanks again.

I've tried the Nautilus, bought the Subtank. Preferred the flavor & draw. I do think the Nautilus puts out a bit more vapor though.

I agree with KC33, wait for the mini or nano. Subtank RBA deck has a lot less airflow than stock coils. Looks like this was improved on the mini from the reviews I saw. Also, while the 25mm subtank fits my Hana nicely, it's ridiculous on my 20w Istick. I'll probably add a mini or nano to the collection just for my Istick, as it's my out & about device.

As for RDAs (drippers), tons of options out there. Personally, my favorite so far is the Magma. Airflow isn't as open as the Subtank, but great flavor & I like the well. Also, with a single coil will work on the Istick 20w just fine. Main downside is that it's easy to overdrip or tilt to far when it's full, and leak a bit.

I saw on Pete Bursardo's youtube channel today that the Aspire Atlantis is coming out with cotton coils. I have not heard that anywhere else as of yet. Also, you can buy a 5ml tank from Aspire that is SS all the way through.

I like my Atlantis, but I will also be buying a Sub Tank Mini. Like a previous poster said, you can't go wrong with either I don't think. Just be sure to know your mod/battery and be safe, both use sub ohms and can be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing.

I have both, bought the Atlantis first, since I had started with Aspire Mini-Nautilas and was familiar with the brand. The Kanger introduced me to building with the RTA option, and it's a whole new world! Just built my first dripper today. I power it with the Vapor Shark rDNA 40, and it's a great regulated mod. The wireless charging option is amazing and so simple. Either one will be great, but the RTA option on the Kanger can introduce you to another world, if that's your interest. The increased e-liquid volume on the Kanger is a plus, and I guess if you pressed me, I'd have to chose the Kanger over the Aspire, but both are great tanks and you'll be happy with either one.
