I have been searching the net for any sign of this problem and I cannot seem to find anyone having this same issue. The T3's I just bought simply do not attach to my ego at all. I ordered 2 T3's and 2 replacement coils and not a single one will work. Does anyone have any insight into this? It looks to me that the threads are totally different, my ego threads look much more fine than the threads inside the T3. If anyone has any info it would be very much appreciated.

Is your Twist a Joyetech? Does it have joyetech or eGo-c trademark on the lower part of the battery? Where did you buy it? And where did you get the T3?

This just in from Wayne, proprietor at heaven gifts who is in close contact with joye and kanger. (referring to the earlier thread on this issue)...

"I am also using twist battery+tabacc, it's working well and there is no problem like the thread says, I guess that customer is using a copy twist battery. Joye tech have two different eGo threadings, one 5 threads another 7, both can fit the Tabacc BCC. However, some Tabacc cartomziers center connector may not well contact the center connector of Joye series batteries, it's easy to resolve this problem, you just need to use a small screwdriver or a bamboo skewer to wiggle the center connector of Tabacc BCC out of its rubber seat a little bit, so that it would become higher, then it can well contact the battery connector. Joyetech don't have other eGo threadings, so it's not true that Joyetech has changed the eGo threading."

I had this exact issue, of threads not matching up when they were advertised to be "eGo" compatible.

Turns out it was my battery, the threads were not truly eGo threading.

If the eGo Twist has much finer threading than the T3, I would say you may have a knock off T3 in your hands. Let me see if I can dig up a photo from my thread post...

If the picture shows up, you'll see one of the devices has much finer thread pitch than the other... The finer pitch is a genuine eGo device, the other, a knock off...

I did suspect that my ego was a knockoff it says ego c twist near the bottom but nothing on the end cap. I got the kangers from a retailer listed on this forum and there are no negative reviews about them so at this point I don't feel right putting anything on here that may give them any sort of bad word of mouth. I think after doing some research that the problem is my battery and I am going to get a 510 to ego adapter and see if that works and if not I will buy a genuine ego and use this one as a spare or something. Thanks to everyone for the assistance and I will update whenever I get an adapter.

highly doubt its because of your knock off twist. I have a knock off twist and my t3 works fine. it has something to do with kangers manufacturing since there has been a buzz of bad t3's being sold even amongst authorized distributors. yours might be a manufacturing defect

JS,

Thanks for the info. And yep, no "C" logo on the bottom end cap of any eGo-c is a knockoff. (although earlier t's and the first joye eGo's don't have that marking.) I contacted Wayne at heavens gifts because I know he's in contact with joye and if they happened to have changed the threading, this is the type of feedback they need. And I appreciate not wanting to 'dis any vendors, and I think you handled it rightly wrt the T3 which is not likely a problem. (edit:after reading eagarcia's comments, I'm not so sure) I wish that people making the knockoffs would at least get the threading right :D

I didn't want to point any fingers at venders especially since I cannot be sure where the actual problem lies. That is why I didn't post any names. Just looking for solutions and it seems the adapter might work so I will give that a try.

Just throwing this out there but, I have a genuine Joyetech eGo-C Twist 1000mAh battery and the Kanger T3s and an MT3. I've noticed a difference in the THREADING ON THE T3s.

Here is the picture of my eGo Twist: TwistThreading.jpg

Here is the picture of my Kanger T3s, the one on the left fits and performs differently than the two on the right: T3threading.jpg

Would anyone want to swap T3s with me, you can see if they work on your Twist knock-offs??? The T3 on the left doesn't fit right (there is a leak and it feels like I am sucking in air).
