Hi.
I have a sigelei zmax v5 telescopic and I'm looking at getting either a innokin iclear 30s clearomizer or a kangertech aerotank.

They are both about the same price and it doesnt bother me which one to get. I am wondering which one you guys think is better. I use a 60-40% pg/vg nicotene vape and I like to vape with alot of smoke. I dont know anything about rebuilding coils and have only been vaping for a couple months, so the best one for a newbie would be best. Thanks guys.

Aerotank without a second thought. But if you are open to another suggestion go for the Aspire Nautilus (normal or mini).

Hi, Yes I would definitly consider the nautilus. Which one would be best out of the nautilus and the aerotank do you think? I found the aerotank here in Aus for about $39 and the nautilus for about $33.

I have a both a Nautilus Mini and a Kanger Protank 3 Mini. It took me a while to get the Nautilus Mini working well, had problems with the BVC coils dry hitting and blocking (it was a combination of my own errors and the coils), but I love it now.

Straight up I prefered the 1.5 coils in the Protank, which uses the same dual coil as the Aerotank. I was looking at getting the Aerotank II, but then the Subtanks arrived so I picked up the Subtank Mini, which works beautifully with the 1.2 Ohm coils at 15 watts.

If your not prepared to put up the cash for a Subtank, I would suggest you go for the Aerotank II, they improved the airflow.

I'd go with an Aerotank as well, I use a Protank 3.mmthey are both pretty much the same, except Aerotank is bigger. My coils last long time too.

If you put an Aerotank airflow control valve on your PT3 (V1, V2, or V3) you'll get much improved performance from it--unless you're happy with the airflow as it is, of course.

I'd have said the mini nautilus after using it for the first few weeks I had it but mine is getting on my nerves now. I'm not sure if it's a qc issue at aspire but my couls are lasting three days tops at the moment and are not tasting too good from the offset.

srumbled upon the I clear last week and am switching between that and the aspire ets at the moment. Very tight draw on the I clear but I like it.

Those are the choices? :(

Both are a little out-dated, sometimes leaky and expensive on coils. (i.m.o).

If you want lots of vapour, maybe you can just about sneak a 1.2ohm Subtank onto a Zmax.

I discovered my Subtank Nano that I use for fruit flavors (citrus mainly) still had the original 1.2ohm coil from 7 weeks ago. OK, so I only vape on it half the time, but 7 weeks is better than 4-5 days with those old Kanger clearo heads.

Aspire Mini Nautilus? Eleaf GS air? both OK. Subtank 1.2ohm for vapor, though, every time. :)

I own all 3. This is my impression of them.

Aspire Nautilus... For me this is by far the best retail non-subohm clearo. It has great flavor and can produce a ton of vapor. I would prefer a bit more adjustable airflow than it's 4 options, but wide open it has the best airflow. Direct lung hits are possible. In my experience, it works best at 15W-19W power ranges and thanks to it's large wicking holes and cotton wicks it works well with 50/50 or 60/40 VG/PG juice mixes.

iClear 30S... My wife uses this religiously. I think it actually has the best flavor of these tanks, but it has a very tight, non-adjustable airflow. Works fine if you just do mouth to lung hits and want a tight airflow, but it also tends to give dry hits and burns the juice at anything over 9 watts because it's so restricted. Stay in the 7-9W range and it works fine though. Technically it's a top coil tank so you would want to use it with thinner juices. 30/70 VG/PG works well, 40/60 VG/PG is right on the edge of it's limits. It also has a plastic tank which can fog up, scale, or crack with certain juices. Avoid citrus or cinnamon juices, it will mess the tank up.

Kanger Aerotank... This is probably the most disappointing tank for me. It has the best airflow adjustment, but is still very limited on it's overall airflow. This is for mouth to lung hitters only. This tank also has the least flavor. Flavors are VERY muted with the Aerotank, to the point where some of mine have virtually no taste at all. It also has small wicking holes so it doesn't work well with thicker juices. I personally wouldn't recommend going lower than a 40/60 VG/PG mix with the Kanger heads, unless you really like dry hits. In my experience this tank works best in the 9-12W range. Any higher than 12W and it starts tasting burnt and giving dry hits due to the restricted wicking and limited airflow.

*** NOTE: My impressions are based on the full sized Nautilus, not the Mini which based on reports here seems to be very problematic for some. The full sized Nautilus works great and I've not had one single problem with leaking, gurgling, or spitting.
