The Nebox is a real disappointment for me. I could live with one of the (for me) three major faults: no adjustable airflow; not being able to use the square Subtank coils; and no removable tank. Put all three together, and it's a pass.

On the plus side, according to Vape Math, since I didn't buy the Nebox that means I can buy another mod since I SAVED money by not buying the Nebox. (OK, not sound financial practice, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it.)

Would have been nice if the mod may be a bit wider but would contain a full sized subtank that you can take out to completely clean and adjust the airflow from the base and then have some slot on the side to bring the air in. Kangers take on temp control will be interesting at least as its their first tc mod, it also comes with ss coils and no mention of it including ni or ti coils on the infographic so maybe theres temp control for ss too.

Busardo said it came with one ni200 coil and one other which I took to mean a SS stock coil for "Kanthal" mode. The specifically stated the unit will do temp control in Ti mode.

Ah right, yea thats possible too since ss doesnt need to b in temp mode, would b nice if it did ss tc tho, and if the board lets you upgrade the firmware too

He did not elaborate on any firmware upgradeability. The display gui looks very rudimentary and I would be very surprised if Kanger would employ upgradeable firmware in one of their products. (never really been a fan of Kanger.)

Just had a look at pbusardos pics, nice to finally see inside the mod heh. I used some of kangers older style tanks like the t2, t3, evods etc so had some issues back then but was similar with alot of the silica wick heads, most of em just didnt like certain juices and were packed with too much silica lol, the subtank luckily has changed that up, but not used their mods, I hear the subox is quite popular though, maybe good for alot of first time vapers who dont wanna have too many options at the start like tc.

One thing I couldn't figure out from the pics was where the airflow comes from though! It seems like it could be from the bottom, I guess in this situation its actually an interesting idea having the airflow at the bottom since if there happened to be any leaks it wouldnt go on the mod, but adjustable airflow would have been better for anyone wanting a tighter draw or mtl vape.

Airflow is through the hole in atty base at the coin slot directly to coil. One could easily throttle it with you finger or with tape or similar for MTL airflow. Busardo said it was Pretty open airflow which is uncharacteristically vague and judging by pics of the smaller coils this does not seem to have airflow of a wide open subtank mini.

Really thinking that the Nebox airflow will fall way short of my initial expectations.

Thats a good point about adjusting airflow with tape or something, guess thats one way to have less airflow and for mtl. Yea I really thought at first it would be like the rail box with the ability to stick any atty you had inside, I guess when reviewers have it they can compare the airflow with the subtank's different airflow options so people know what to expect.

We'll know as soon as Busardo reviews. Figuring another 2 weeks before he gets around to it though. He'll be burned out after the DNA200 quadrilogy.

First impressions video. No details on TC operation, but shows the basic functionality.

Huge Plus that the older square occs are compatible as per the above video. Busardo apparently wrongly reported they weren't able to be used earlier on his website.

He also said airflow comparable to subtank with only slightly more muted favor. I might need to give this device a try.

He is the only one who said plastic so far & he is reviewing a temp device with reviewing temp feature because he doesn't like temp control. I take his opinions with a few grains of salt.
