Well, been playing with one all evening.

I like the plastic myself. I accept the fact it is what it is, a smoking device that is cheap with a built in tank. This is not for the most uber of hardware fanatics. It reminds me a one of those giant Zippos you leave laying around so no one steals it.

The only turn off's thus far is the caps on the bottom, the screen size, the buttons +/- are just a little to close together and my damn pinky keeps blocking the air flow. It may seem like a lot of cons but I am fascinated with the little booger over all. :)

I have no problem with plastic. Any chance you could do me the favor of trying my ADV for a day. It's a Cinnamon Red Hot/Black Cherry mix and I can mix it to your preferred nic content. I just wanna see how the plastic tank holds up after a couple days.

I'm being a smarta$$ mostly 'cause I'm jealous and I would probably love the mod ... if it was compatible with my juice.

Ha, never thought about the tank cracker juices. I don't have any juices like that myself. I'm mostly custards, sweets and the likes.

A new vape shop opened today in Aberdeen, went in to have a look and they had the NeBox in stock. 3 customers in the shop were raving about it so I picked up a black one myself.

First impressions are really good. The unit is slightly smaller than a pack of 20 Cigs, which is perfect for work. build quality is really good and I've had no issues with the battery opening which some of the reviewers complained about.

Only used if for a few vapes as i'm at work, but so far the device is working really well and seems smoother with a better flavor than my subtank mini also using Ni Coils.

Only issue at present is that no one seems to have the new SSOCC replacement coils in stock.

MVS supposedly has the SSOCC coils in stock.Kanger NEBOX SSOCC Coils

Smaller than a pack of Marlboro red is better than I imagined. The extreme close-ups used in reviews always make me think equipment is larger than it really is. Glad you liked it enough to buy it immediately and are thus far happy with the purchase. Enjoy it and please report back with other thoughts on your purchase as you become more familiar with it.

These vertical occs should feel more open than the previous ni200 occs with the horizontal coils but at least the older ones can be used until the others become more available.

Thought I'd post my thoughts on the Nebox after a couple of days use

Similar air flow to the subtank mini which the air flow fully open, which is ideal for me.
Great juice capacity
Great flavour
Good vapour production, but not a cloud chaser
Pocketable size, great for work and will be perfect for taking sking or snowboarding in the winter.
Battery life seems a lot shorter then my subtank and IPV D2 combo, but I do have the temperature set higher.

I have had Some major issues today though.
I started getting a slight burnt taste from the Ni coil, probably because I let the juice level get to low prior to changing flavours. Decided to try a standard suntank OCC Ni coil, but got dry hits and a burnt coil almost straight away. after about 3 draws, it started pulsing from fully on to fully off in about half second cycles, followed by a really nasty burnt flavour (this wasn't like fluttering you get with some TC Mods)
I Put the original coil back in but the device is now leaking from the bottom air hole, cleaned and re-installed the base twice but still leaked. Second time leaked about 1/4 tank of juice!
I'll try the spare coil tomorow, as I left it at work, but I'm worried the old style OCC coil my have damaged the treading where it connects to the chimney, causing the flooding and leaking.

Total frustration at the moment as my new TFV4 Mini is also leaking badly with both the prebuilt double caption coil and the Clapton RBA.

Sorry you are having so many issues. I'm torn apart by your reports, have had my sincere hopes dashed, and am somewhat confused. My understanding is this is essentially a long subtank mini inside a mod. Sounds like it was working great and you were very pleased, then you had some issues only today related to bad coils.

Were you under TC at time of coil malfunction or operating under vv/vw mode? If you were pushing high wattage on the ni-chrome coil it is not surprising it burned on low juice capacity. If however you were running a ni200 coil under TC, that would be a major issue indicating that TC in this mod is essentially useless. You actually state it was a NI200 coil and this is not good at all for the expected accuracy of TC as reported accurate by essentially every reviewer out there. TC is supposed to stop that burnt taste from happening at all if properly set up.

It is assumed you have subtank experience if you had the old coils hanging around, so priming your (new) old style coils is assumed. Pulsing from fully on to fully off is not expected behavior and it sounds like you have a decidedly malfunctioning unit in need of immediate warranty replacement. Did you buy it at a local B&M or were you a pre-order from an internet supplier?

The fact that you are rocking a TFV4 tells me this is not user error because this is decidedly not a tank for beginners. Hoping to hear an awful lot more about these issues as you come up with answers. Will offer any support necessary, but will not pretend to insult you with the standard idiot questions normally employed for diagnosis/advice.

Look forward to more input from you my friend as I have 2 on pre-order from Breezy scheduled to ship this week.

I've now swapped the coil for the non TC 0.5 ohm coil and it's working fine, with no leaks. So looks like it was a just the coil.

Thinking back I think I probably fired the Ni coil in wattage mode accidentally when playing with the settings, prior to burning out the coil. So hopefully just an isolated issue.

Just need to get some new coils for it When available.also considering the atom vapes gold gclapton coils, which should also fit.

Just a couple of notes on the TC issue:

With the supplied SSOCC Ni200 coil, TC was working as expected, I probably set the wattage too high or accidentally ran it in Power mode at some point while playing with the settings, and ended up getting a burnt taste.

It was when i tried an older square Subtank Ni coil that i had the pulsing issue. I suspect this coil must have a bad connection as it started cutting in and out almost straight away. The coil was properly primed and resistance locked correctly.

It was after this that i first got the leaking issues, when reinstalling the original SSOCC coil, hence my concern that the threading may have been damaged. Currently running OK with the 0.5 ohm SSOCC coil that came with the kit.

Since the New SSOCC Ni coils are not currently available, i've just picked up a couple of the standard Ni coils and will test again tonight in TC mode, hopefully with better results.

Well discovered one thing this evening. Temp control doesn't work with the current Subtank OCC nickel coils on this device.
Installed a new coil, primed the coil as normal, locked the resistance (read 0.18 ohms) left to stand for 30 minutes, with 60% VG juice

Started vaping at 400F and 30W. Which was ok, but no real flavour. Increased to 425F and 35W started to get a better flavour. After about an hour of fairly light vaping, increased to to 38W. Instant dry hit, very nasty burnt taste and pulsing on and off again same as yesterday. Coil is now wrecked and pulses on/off even at 30W with continuous burnt taste.

With the new SSOCC Ni coil it worked fine at 50W and 520F with 80% VG, so seems to to be either;
An issue with the older coils,
Bad lmplementation of temperature control,
Just got a bad unit?
