Thats my current wick:

At around 20 watts and 2-3 second pulls at maximum its too damn hot. It's not good at all. I cant get it past 20 watts at all and what's for sure not good and stable. What may cause that, so I can test out something different?
I am using the stock rba pre-build coil at 0.6 ohm as measured by my mod.
Have you tried wicking it so heavy that you have to roll down and stretch the wick to get it through the coil? Might try building your own coil too....the factory coil vaped hot for me as well but that was before I figured out to wick chunky. I had already changed coils a bunch of times before I realized I was underwicking. My Lemo and Billow RTAs behaved the same as the STm until I chunky wicked them. Hot vape.
I'm willing to bet that if I put the factory coil back in and wicked it chunky it would behave better but who knows what wire that is. It's not kanthal as we know it....too low of res for wire diameter.
I'm delighted with my current 32ga. twisted build taking 3sec pulls at 27.5w on the 2-hole afc setting. Warm, not hot, and way more vapor and flavor than the occ's could hope to deliver.
