This is a very easy to use economical variable voltage mod that takes a single unprotected 18650 IMR battery. It has six different voltage stages from 3.0v to 5v.
- It is very easy to change voltages on this mod:
- Press the rubberized translucent fire/selection button three times within 2 seconds.
- This takes you into setting mode. While in setting mode simply click the selection/fire button once to go up in voltage starting at 3.0v Blue) then going to 3.3v (green) then going to 3.7v (dark green), then going to 4.2v (light purple), then to 4.6v (darker blue) then finally topping out at 5.0v (red).
- Cycles around on either end of the voltage spectrum)
Other Features:
- Lockable (when in setting mode press and hold button for 2 seconds. The LED flashes 10 times to confirm it is locked out.
- Unlock - Press the button five times within ten seconds to unlock the device.
- Energy Savings: When not in use for several seconds turns off automatically.
- Present voltage indication: when pressing fire button it lights up to the correct voltage output (see above or on sleeve on the package box)
- Short circuit protection auto shuts off the device if a short is detected.
- Reverse insertion of battery protection.
- Low battery protection: when battery is dangerously low (meaning continued use of the battery will damage it and possible destroy the battery) the unit goes into protection mode by flashing five times then shutting down indication you have to charge the battery.
- Memory: Remembers the last voltage setting in between uses or a battery change.
