If it has been processed properly, to usp grade, there really ought be no difference. The whole idea of usp is purity, and vg is a defined chemical.

If it's not usp grade I wouldn't touch it. Food grade is not the same, things can be fine to eat or drink but not to vape.

Yes, it's easy to become used to fresh roasted specialty beanz :) I'll prolly do a small French press of the El Salvador after camp.

Haha...just found out the hubby is stopping by the house this weekend so I'm going to bat my eyes at him and win him over to the "roaster" side :D

How do you folks organize your DIY flavorings? I only have 60 at the moment, and 30 more coming today, and it's already a mess. Takes me as long to find what I need as it does mixing up a batch.
Been looking in the DIY section for ideas, but I'd like to pick your brains too.

Since I have about 500 flavor bottles now, I have a spreadsheet. I label all of my bottles by number (masking tape on the top of the lid with the number written on it) in the little bins I keep them in and have the spreadsheet (alphabetized by flavor name) tacked to the door of my desk that I use to mix in. When I need Apple TFA, I look on the spreadsheet to find apple and see what bottle number it is--then I can pull it out easier.

WOW! 500! I was just thinking, I might build a rack, similar to the spice rack I made for the kitchen. But then I read that and realized, not really a long term solution.
The spreadsheet idea is a keeper. Thanx.

You're welcome...it's the only way I can keep track of mine, and since I love Excel it's not a problem. I have tabs for every flavor manufacturer that I have and then a master that has them all listed alphabetically that I print out for the desk. I use the individual tabs for when I'm ordering so I don't duplicate. The individual tabs are also where I keep a column listing the amounts still remaining in the bottles so that I know when the bottle gets down to half or quarter that it's time to reorder. It's a process to set up but pretty easy to maintain from there. If I get time tonight I'll try to get a current pic of my desk setup so you can see how I do it.
