Update to the grandson issue from yesterday. My daughter wound up getting off work and took him to the dr. He has a sinus infection. And the dr gave her hell for waiting so long to bring him in. Yes!
The Greek alphabet is derived from the Phoenician alphabet so, who knows one of these days you and I may be conversing in Greek!
Ha! Wouldn't that be something! You're right, though. Much of written language can be traced back to Semitic and Phoenician... either way, it's all Greek to me!

Sounds good! I recently did an apple fritter juice that I'm getting near the end of a 4oz test batch. It ain't bad!
I followed their recommended ranges, went 2.5% on the apple pie and 1% cream. The apple pie is clean, a nice flavor. I'll put it aside, check again in a week to see if the cream starts coming through.
Baklava and bread pudding I'll probably make some single flavor tests, to get a feel for. They've both had good reviews. (OTOH I might add a pinch of nature's flavors vanilla to them, that flavoring is simply really nice.)

That is exactly what i keep telling my wife about our almost 23 year old son.He sits on his .... doing nothing but play video games from the time he wakes up until he goes to bed.I've been on him since he was 18 to find a job,but he knows my wife won't allow me to throw him out,so he's safe.I've been telling her for years if she just quits giving him everything he wants,then he will figure out how to do on his own.One day i hope she listens haha.
I've had the Baklava and bread pudding in the vg versions,and they were both good,but weak even at 20%.i just got bread pudding in the super concentrated,so looking forward to retrying that one,i forgot about the Baklava though,so i'll have to order it in sc sometime.I also picked up their vanilla custard,souffle,and a few others i think i mentioned the other day,so looking forward to making some test batches this weekend.
Mine all shipped today but since I won't be home for 2 weeks I will have fun when I get home. They will wait patiently at the post office.

Tomorrow's project, after initially clearing the driveway (due to snow all day) will be breaking out the roof rake to do some roof clearing. This snow is about perfect for ice dams to form (if I'm lucky the wind will blow a lot off over night).

I know it's hard for her to be tough with her "little boy" but she needs to stop. She's not doing him any favors.

Hubby spent almost all day today on the phone trying to settle a bill. A few months ago he had to have an Ultrasound. We paid our co-pay and the place billed our insurance. Today we got a bill from the ultrasound place for $1300 saying their claim was declined 
. So he called the insurance company. Apparently when the imaging place sent the insurance company their bill they didnt code it right and they charged them way more than the agreed amount per their contract so of course the insurance company declined it.
So instead of sticking to the agreed price and correct code the ultrasound place's solution was to try and collect from us. NOT!!!
We dont owe them another penny. We know it, they know it and the insurance company confirmed it and is handling it. But what a damn hassle. No wonder insurance cost so much.

I had similar last year with my dentist. New dentist for me, needed teeth extracted and a full upper denture. Oral surgeon was paid and settled. We get a bill from dentist, seems they didn't even file the claim because they figured the oral surgeon got all the benefits. NOT! Once the dentist office filed, insurance paid, and I got almost $500 back.
Best to follow up and stay on top of it. Kudos to your DH.

When I had my PCOs for my eyes a month back, the walk in surgery place wanted almost $1100 via credit card. When I got my Aetna claim form it said I should have only been about $650 out of pocket. I called the surgery place, got the refund check from them last week [emoji5]
