kayfun lite double barrel coil

Forever trying new things I decided to give rip trippers double barrel coil a go. Came out to around .65 ohms. Overall nice flavor, good vapor but a bit on the warm side. Anyone have any other good coil builds in their KFL? being limited by airflow I find it pointless to go anywhere under .6 ohms. But just curious what everyone has tried and liked

I've done dual coils for fun....



I believe that was using 30ga wire and it ended up around 0.9Ω (It's been a while)

But I always go back to a single coil. I've drilled out all the air holes on my Kayfuns to 2mm and currently I'm running a 2.2mm, 8 wrap, 24ga coil which comes in right at 0.6Ω Vapes nice!

How hard was it drilling out the kayfun. Only experience I've had drilling out a tank was my protank. Also I can't attach an image to my post lol.

With a drill press and a quality drill bit, it's easy.

I have done one with a hand drill with the base secured in a vice, but I think that's more prone to trouble (such as breaking the bit off in your kayfun base)

Have any pics of the process? I assume you drilled out the center post?

Does anybody else have problems wicking it? I feel like it would function better if that cone that rests on top of the small grooves that allow juice flow to the wick had small slits that could actually be stuffed with wick (I'm imagining something like kangertech's dual coil heads, but smaller slits on s bigger piece)

not externally hard getting two 2.5mm coils in place, the challenge becomes raping the tip of a 2.5 ekowool with teflon an feeding it through both
