I feel like when I first bought this thing it was producing clouds of vapor. The last two coils I have have produced extremely light or inconsistent vapor. I've switched juices but still from the same vendor (Fuzion - high VG so it should be heavy on vapor production). The last coil was 1.4 ohms and this one is 1.7. I built this 1.7 ohm coil on a 5/64 drill but with 12 wraps. vaping at 10 watts on an MVP. Cotton wick.

Any ideas?

How is the flavor? was the wick tight going through the coil? it should be loose enough to move while dry with a little bit of pull on the coil, but not enough to have to use a ton of force.
Also not all liquids are created the same, vapor can vary. maybe try stepping up the power a little to see what happens. if it taste burnt youll know its a wicking issue.

It was pretty snug I think but not TOO snug (what would happen of it was too snug?). I've tried less though and it was fairly similar. Flavor is pretty big so that's not a problem. I can't bump the power too much because this only goes up to 11 watts. I just tried 11 though and vapor was similar maybe a tad better.

I mean I'm no cloud chaser so it's not all about vapor but I remember when I was driving after I first got it and I could sometimes barely see in front of me the vapor production was so good. Maybe I should try one of my earlier flavors again though and see how that does.

If it was too tight your wicking would be strangled because the coil would be compressing the cotton. thus the coil part of wick holds very little liquid and it will burn. thats why you want it loose so that more liquid can get to there but not too loose because then the coil isnt making contact with wick and the heating isnt as good.
