Been messing around with my kayfun Lite Plus v2 clone now for a week... Trying to nail down the best build for max juice flow - I never came close to flooding and find myself priming before hits all too often. :grr: I use organic cotton but have some silica, any thoughts on this?

Use 1.3 / 1.4 ohm micro coil builds at 12-14 watts - I must be doing something a little off so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Do you cover the air intake when you do a primer puff? I do and if i pull to hard on one primer puff it will flood a bit. So i just cover the hole, quick pull, and vape. I'm running mine about the same as you and it's fine. I did start using the clear tank though so i can see the bubbles from the primer puff. Never a dry hit. I primer puff mine just as a precautionary thing mostly. I'm using organic cotton and kumo organic cotton. Sometimes you have to play around with how much cotton you're using and make sure the ends touch the deck. I just keep telling myself it's not a dripper and don't try to force it to do things it's not designed to do. There are lots of posts to read about this topic. Good luck.

I tried a lot of builds and have always had wicking problems as well. Till I heard that more is actually better. So I build a big ol fat 3mm coil and stuff and much wick as I can without it being tight. Fluff the ends and fill the whole juice well with wick. Even the juice holes. I notice it makes no difference and might actually be better to cover the hole. Now I can chain vape it no problems.
This is all with rayon at 1ohm btw.

I just got the EHPro one a few days ago. I wrapped the coil on one of my precision screwdrivers. Its between 5/64 and 3/32. Seems just right for optimal wicking. I was using a 3/32 bit on my friend's authentic kfl+, and that worked well, too.

Yeah I think it was my wicking skillz sad to say  Good news - I have since improved and solved my issue!

Doing just the same thing. I gave up trying to find the way to get this thing wicking right

I've seen in a few videos (Pbusardo) a pretty good way to wick. He claims to not have dry hits. Leave the tails long and put the bottom chamber tube on, clip the wick tails at the top of the tube and press them down into the chamber with a little micro screw driver. Juice it up, test fire, reassemble and fill it up and should be good to go.

I have my wicks pretty fluffy and just folded over on the deck, seems to work pretty good for me. 1.0 ohm 26g higher vg juice at about 17 watts.

I own a KFL+ with dual air holes from ehpro. I find that if I use ~2mm coil I.D. centered across the air opening it wicks well. I'm using rayon wick and I just have the wick tails spread out and just touching the upper deck. I used kohgendo cotton pads and it worked too. The air intake adjustment is important to note, the draw needs to be tight enough to ensure you have a good vacuum in the tank. That's how you see the air bubbles after each draw.

60VG/40PG ratio worked great. I'm currently using a higher VG and I'm also getting good results so far. It does tighten the draw though.

Wondering what ohm is your 2mm coil? Yeah I got both air intake adjustments screwed all the way down tight.

"...both air intake adjustment screwed all the way down tight." and it still draws? You my friend have an air leak somewhere. If I close the air flow on my KF, it's like sucking on my thumb.

Seems to be an issue with the 2 AFC screws on the bottom =\ Got no clue on how to fix this to make them work correctly - Not sure why they are not working properly... maybe some wax on them (for a better seal)? HELP!!!!

UPDATE - Tested the bottom AFC screws and the air is leaking from both of them so I guess I'm in a pickle.
