My best results when building the EHPro kayfun lite plus v2 is when wicking I put the bottom chimney piece on and cut the wicks from the top. Take that back off and wet the wicks with juice and use a small piece of metal or screwdriver and stick the wicks up against the side walls. Put it all back together and it works great 99% of the time.

Seems to be an issue with the 2 AFC screws on the bottom =\ Got no clue on how to fix this to make them work correctly - Not sure why they are not working properly... maybe some wax on them (for a better seal)? HELP!!!!

UPDATE - Tested the bottom AFC screws and the air is leaking from both of them so I guess I'm in a pickle.

I noticed that on the KFL+ from ehpro that if you tighten the adjustment screws all the way you are actually reopening the air intake. If you look at the design you notice that the adjustment screws thread up pretty far. While tightening the screw and looking into the corresponding air channel you'll see the adjustment screw go up, close off the hole, then air intake reopens near the bottom. Completely tightening the screws will not close off the air intake.

To test if you have a air leak just position the screws where you like the draw and close off the air holes with your fingers. Also remember that since the adjustment screw can "eclipses" the air intake hole then opens again you can actually have air coming from the bottom when completely tightened.

Maybe you can post a picture of your wick and coil and we can see if we can diagnose the problem further before you think there may be an issue with your device. Saves you the return and waiting.
