how close is your coil to the air tube? i recommend 1.5 - 2.0mm gap. sometimes if the wick gets to juicy it can gurgle and sometimes whistle.

Are you saying if the wick is too close to the air tube then it will be juicier than farther away? This is my first rebuildable.

I will check tomorrow. I didn't measure the distance on the gap but I'll make another build tomorrow and let you know what I had in there.
Thanks for the reply.

Cheers mate,
couldn't help myself, $28 shipped with both tanks.
Should have the Fasttech 3.1 on Monday and I've already got an original lite - can't resist these things, I love 'em so much.

Just picked one up. First kayfun style. Pretty easy to build and get going, but I do have a significant whistle sound. Other than that I love everything about it. Removing the air screw got rid of it, but I'd love to be able to keep it in to tighten up the draw some. Anyone gotten rid of the whistle without removing the air screw? Tried screwing it all the way in and backing it out a half turn at a time, but at no point did it go away. Will try moving the coil up some on the next build as it's currently about a mm or so above the air hole. Time to chill out on the testing for a little while. Got a nice nic buzz going on :)

Cheers! Picked up a frosted one as well. And, like the other poster I also have the FT 3.1 on the way. Why limit oneself with just a couple kayfun-style RBAs? I'd buy a real one if they were anywhere to be found... Not paying $120 for one from Cloud9 either.

I really hate coming here to the forums sometimes.

I ordered and received the "Rocket" from Fasttech ( not epecting much for 12 bucks) and this is absolutely the best vape I have ever been exposed to. Is not very well made, kinda cheap, but.....this copy of the Russian is a treat.

So now I see you guys have found one of these that is a quality build and pretty industrial looking...plus both tanks ....plus the optiion of frosted. .....

I just ordered 5 of them for 127.00 shipped. I cant wait.

You all just make me so broke. :toast: I really hate you guys sometimes.......;)

even if they aren't all that great, they are cheap enough. however, i've been reading nothing good reviews on them. i've never ordred nything from these guys before, i wonder what the turn around time will be. i have a month in my head....

I'm going to guestamate about 10 days to Ky. China post is usually pretty fast but I've seen a recent post in the fasttech thread that they may have slowed a little. By paying shipping they should be picked right up as opposed to fasttechs free shipping which only gets picked up if there's more room on the plane, or at least that's the way I understand it.
