Got mine today. Together Best Company "kayfun Lite style". I have company so I won't have time to clean and set it up until tomorrow or Saturday.
There is a lot of forum chat on fasttech's site about it not being 100% stainless steel so I sent them an inquiry when the question first popped up and they are suppose to be sending me replacement parts. I think they narrowed it down to just the screws. Can anyone confirm this? If so whats a good place to find stainless replacements for those tiny screws?

I have no idea what the screws are, but Ace should be a good place to check out.
As far as the chrome goes, I've read several sources that say you have to be near smelting temps before any oxides at all are given off so I think it's a non issue. Go with your own conclusions on it though. The ss screw is stronger and should last longer for sure.

if USPS tracking is anything like CP tracking i'm not supprised it's not showing up. i had 2 packages show up yesterday that didn't show up in CP tracking.... long as they make it right

Yep, that's the main thing.
My dates are different but info is the same. My FT one is still showing as processed through LA on the 30th, but at least USPS tracking is picking it up.
I worked on it yesterday extensively and the only tricky part are indeed the screws.
I have ordered 2 original replacement packs including the o-rings (from an authorized Svoemesto dealer in Germany) and about 20 M2 SS Screws for other atomizers as well. I am changing all the screws 2X on the posts, AFC and Refill screw. I am also going to change the o-rings.
All the parts flush mount but I've seen better threads.
What you MUST do is clean it thoroughly by soaking it in dish detergent and make sure to remove ALL the screws or else galvanic corrosion will occur and you will get rust that can also stain your SS parts and then they will require sanding.

My four bt804s are still chugging along quite nicely and when my two tobeco's get here, I'll have 6 kf types. Will that do me? Well, probably, but I'm looking forward to some reviews of the foggy version and the pmma kit. They're bound to be a lot lighter, and I'm hoping the vape will be the same.

I have ordered 2 original spares kits for the Tobecco clone and any other I might be getting in the future. I am also waiting on an HCIGAR 3.1 that will change the screws on so I will receive them on Tuesday and report on compatibility.
I bought the tobeco kayfun lite clone on eBay and it is great. Except for the whistling. A bit annoying. It's technically a clone of the Russian 91%.
Today I I found on eBay a seller with a kayfun lite plus clone by tobeco. The airflow adjustment is on the bottom. I scooped that one up today. Can't wait to get it in hand.

Take either a small drill bit, or a torch tip cleaner and run it through the air inlet hole to remove the burrs inside it from where the air adjustment hole was drilled, this should fix the whistling problem.
Yesterday I ordered what I believe to be a ToBeco KFL/R91 clone from eBay to go along with the legit KFL+ and R91 that I already have. For $34.95 shipped, I figured it was worth seeing how it compares to the real thing. It included both clear and SS tank sections.
The general consensus seems to be that it's a pretty good copy of the original and that it vapes well. I've heard about the "rusty screw" issue, which shouldn't be a problem as I've already got spares to spare. I also plan on washing it and soaking it overnight in some detergent water and then give it a bath in some 99% iso to remove any remaining oil/grease.
My question is, how far does the rust issue extend? I know I'll be replacing the deck, filling, and grub screws, but wht about the 510 screw/center post? I've heard stories of them breaking or arriving broken. I'm taking that to mean that they aren't SS either. Is this still an issue and is rusting an issue on these screws?

Hey guys, has anyone had any wicking issues with these thing with a high vg ratio, I keep getting a burnt taste from my tobeco KFL, really light burn but still there, my juice channels on the sides seem to be really shallow and possibly not machined straight? Anybody heard anything?
^^^^ I seen a post where some one drilled out the channels a little. That should be easy to do. I'll see if I can find it for you. I think it was in the kayfun lite thread.

Same here good mark up on the ToBreCo KFL clones $70! A SM KFL+ is only around $108 insanity!
With having to replace parts with SS and taking into account shipping costs if you aren't local to a SM dealer it makes sense to buy a SM one!
Wonder how much the Aqua clones will go for?
