That makes sense to me, seems to be whats happening. Unless there's not sufficient vacuum with the plastic tank.
I'll stick with the steel tank for now.....Thanks for your thoughts
I just got my tobeco kayfun mini, I can get the all steel sections to wick good, but for some reason, the clear tank when put over the chimney just won't wick right.....has anyone else had this problem? The juice doesn't seem to get the wick hole right with the clear tank
Maybe it's just me, steel tank wicks fine.

ould I suggest this clone to my best friend... probably not, to many quirks, but hey Im vapin it right now and Im happy, happy, happy so who knows.
vape on people! hope this helps a little
Question...Tobeco kayfun mini:
I can verify the same problem. I took a look at it and put just the bell and chimney inside both the clear and SS sections and found there was good clearance for juice with the SS section and it was a much tighter fit with the clear section. The clear section is the same OD, but a thicker wall than the SS. There just isn't enough room for juice migration with the clear section on the bottom. It can still be used in the center section in long mode, but doesn't work as the bottom section for me even with 50/50 PG/VG juice. Maybe a very high PG juice might work, I haven't tried that. I really would rather have the clear section at the bottom so I can see the juice level
Other than that issue, the tank has performed very well. No leaks, great draw for such a tiny thing, warm but not hot vape, great flavor, and good vapor production. I really like this tank, just wish I could see my juice.
Question...
In your last pic, the packaging and everything one, the plastic tank seems frosted but when you describe it you used the word clear. Is the plastic tank section frosted or clear?

Is anyone who has one of these able to fill through the fill hole? Having to fart around with taking the top off and chasing the o-ring around is getting old.
