I got an Ivogo kayfun Mini about a month ago and for the first few weeks it was the best vape I ever had. Tons of vapor and out of this world flavor. But for about the last week or so, its performance has been degrading. At first I thought it might be my battery going bad so I bought a new one but that wasn't the problem. It just doesn't seem to be producing the vapor that it once did. I've always used the same coil build so I know that's not the problem. I've always kept it very clean with daily clean outs and dry burns/new wicks. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Is there something beyond normal cleaning that I may be overlooking? Does the center pin assembly need to be removed and cleaned as well?

if this is your first rebuildable i would say possibly an error in the build somewhere, i had this with sadly like my first 100 frikkin builds with kayfuns/russians where i would get it going then the next build would suck or many in a row would suck, i find if u r using cotton it is very unforgiving as far as the density and size of the tails u can use, takes alot of practice finding that sweet spot, also have u tried different juices in it, best of luck

May not be your Kayfun at all.
If what you built works and what you build is what you built, it should remain the same.

Your e-liquid could be Degrading
Your Taste Buds could be tuning out your chosen Flavor.

Check Air Flow for restrictions
Check wick/coil for build consistency and proper positioning(height)
Consider a flavor break

Since I've had it I've rebuilt it at least twice a week. Each time its always been the same. Excellent... I liked the Mini so much that I bought my wife one. Same build on hers works perfectly as well. Its just lately that mine has started doing this. Its producing about half as much vapor as it used to. I am using cotton for wick material and I know it can be finnicky, but I really don't think its my build. Another thing ive noticed is that the coil seems to take longer to heat up now, even on a fresh battery than my wifes does with the same coil. Thanks for the replys guys.

Speaking about mini's, mine seem to always leak out of the air flow, air flow screw. What am I doing wrong?
With the KF-mini I keep about the same build as a normal 3.1.
Make sure your coil/wick is 1-2 mm above the air hole. If the wick is even barely touching the the bottom air hole the e-juice will find a way to the outside.
every time (and I mean every time) you re-fill you have to tip it upside down and blow the excess into a vaping towel (tissue or whatever) until it sounds perfectly clear... It seems a little wasteful to have to evacuate a half mil every time, but if you don't this little thing will fight you.
As for the OP... I have found that a simple 1.2 to 2.0 ohm micro coil is your friend in these things. they will last a good long time (4-8 weeks) with a simple dry burn and wick change as needed depending on the juice you use.
BTW... I have 2 Ivogos that are my out-and-about rta's. I ditched the plastic tank long ago and find them very durable and dependable even while bouncing around in work pants all day.
After vaping for over 3 years I found that the KFM's matched with Innokin VV's (I always have a back up set) Is about has good as it gets for portability (if a bit long for stealth maneuvers) and reliability.

Time to clean everything really well. The biggest exterior cause of this is dirty 510 threads. Even if you clean it there can still be gunk in the threads so a q-tip with alcohol is a good thing to use. Also the screws and deck holes get residue on them that hot water won't remove that will cause power delay by adding some resistance at the screws. I've gotten into the habit of cleaning the block surface and screws everytime I rebuild. if its just a re-wick I'll use a q-tip dipped in alcohol to get the juice residue off after I dry burn and make sure the screws are tight.

Thanks, moving the coil up a bit did the trick.

So after buying a brand new Vision Spinner 2 to replace my bad Vision Spinner 1 yesterday and still getting bad performance out of my Mini, I figured the problem had to be with the Atty. So just for kicks I put my Atty on my wife's Spinner mod and boom. My Kayfun is right back to how it should be. So it seems the B&M sold me a bad Vision Spinner 2. I should have known when it didn't come sealed in a package. I'm going to return the mod and get something else I guess.
