Try an I taste vv3 if you still want the small ego size. They are great mods and have the same internals as the MVP less the pawer bank
I'm thinking about just getting an MVP 2.0 and being done with it. It gets such excellent reviews and is so cheap to buy it seems like a really good choice. I think I'm done with Ego batteries.

I used my Kayfun mini on a brand new spinner I bought for it for a week or so and tired of it. Although it tasted great and performed amicably, I had better performing combinations at my disposal.

So then I came across Focal's "group buy" for a mini Nemesis (aka the "Nemi") and purchased one, as well as purchasing a couple of 14500 batteries for it from 101 Vape.

Once everything was here I tore out the old 30ga 1.5Ω coil and built a 1.1Ω 28ga microcoil for it, wicked with cotton.

It's since turned into one of my favorite combos. (The only thing I actually used today in fact) Great flavor, unmatched by any of my other kayfun setups and fantastic vapor production. Surprisingly, battery life is actually pretty good.

Just another option to consider. :)

I had considered a mech but the extra price of batteries and a charger put most of the decent ones out of my price range. I have also been looking long and hard at some of the 30-50 watt box mods but feel like they might be overkill for my style of vaping. I love my mini Kayfun and when it works perfectly it is a completely satisfying experience. Do you all think it would work better on an MVP 2.0 or should I go for something with more power output? (Higher watts)

In terms of a 30-50 Watt box mod, there's nothing that says you have to run it at 30-50 Watts. I have had the Cloupor 30 Watt box (Hana box clone) for a little more than 2 months and I've really enjoyed it. My mechs have taken a back seat to it. If anything, you will have extra power at your disposal should you decide to experiment with different atomizers and builds in the future. I use my Expromizer on it and generally stay around 22 watts on it. On a day off from work, I can vape on it most of the day and stick it on the charger at night.

I was at a Vape meet last night and saw the IPV V2 in person. Also looks very nice. Almost bought it, but my wife was standing next to me.......I got guilted out of the idea. ;)

I have an MVP 2 that I run a Kayfun lite on. I take it to work with me everyday and the battery life can't be beat. With a reasonable build of around 1.5Ω-2.0Ω, I can vape on it a couple days at work before needing to charge it. My wife has purchased two of them for herself, and they are her all day everyday device. It is limited to 11 Watts and has a max current output of 3 amps. For me, that is it's only limitation. Lower resistance builds (it will fire down to .9Ω) won't get the full 11 watts.

Well I've been using Spinner type batteries for so long I feel like anything else would be a great improvement. I usually vape a 1.2 - 1.5 ohm coil at around 4.3 volts on my Spinners and have excellent battery life. But my last Vision Spinner went bad so I replaced it with a Vision Spinner 2 and it doesn't work right either. So I think a change from ego batteries is in my future. I love the box style vw mods but don't want to "settle" for one I can afford only to realize in a couple weeks it isn't good enough. I had a Hana Modz mini in my hands yesterday and was SOOO close to getting it, but my wife did her thing and I got the Spinner 2 instead.
