I received my full size Rainbow Heaven last week from an ebay seller. It seemed that when I completely assemble the RBA, I couldn’t get the top stainless steel threaded end cap to lay flat on top of the quartz tank. The cap of the evaporation chamber pulls the top stainless steel threaded end cap up about 1mm.

I have 18 different kayfun’s and have tried several different models, but I got the same result. My suspicion is the larger quartz tank (not the nano) had been cut about 1 mm to short. I could have probably got this to work if I trimmed about 1 mm from the cap of one of my Kayfun evaporation chambers; however I hesitated to modify an existing unit.

The seller agreed to take the unit back and refund my money, so I returned it today.

I had the exact same problem with the Rainbow Heaven tank that I bought off eBay when I put it on a KFL+--when assembled the top cap would seat properly on the chimney, and it just kept popping apart.

Like you, the seller was very gracious, and accepted a return with a full refund.

I was happy with his customer service, but bummed that this tank wouldn't work with a legitimate KFL+...

Now I'm waiting for the "Science of Vaping" website to come back up, so I can order one of their V2 glass tanks--seems to be a FAR superior design, since it comes with a replacement chimney which actually THREADS into the cop cap, rather than just seating into it with an o-ring. But the SoV site has been down for about a month, and I'm starting to worry they might never come back online... :-(

I picked up a SoV V2 kit today -- nano and standard.

the machining is very nice and matches the authentic kayfun lite+ v2 nicely.
I love the integrated top cap.
the o-rings seems little small, things are a bit loose but
I havent built it up yet, but will soon.

I also found this: Tanks - Spectrum Tanks
see #24 (that's what the V2 kit looks like)
seems like a good source for quality glass.
I hope they stock the nano glass in colors. I'd buy several.

I also found this source of glass for the V2 kit:
Kayfun - Bedazzle Glass Tubes

SoV website isnt up yet according to his facebook, but will be soon enough.
Also hoping for a full stainless one-piece nano tank. he has a full size already.

Will the spectrum glass tanks fit my full size Rainbow Heaven kit? The glass is starting to chip on the top edge. It fits my Kayfun Lite Plus from Tobecco okay.

Not sure if anyone has seen it yet,but fasttech has the quartz nano kit for $4.60.Not sure how the fit will be,but i ordered one yesterday,so i'll findout when it gets here.

For $4.60, it may be worth the risk. I'm kicking myself since I spent $20 on a glass kit and the only Kayfun it fits on is the worst one I own. My Tobecco Kayfun Lite.

Yeah,i have been seeing a few people say the glass wasn't fitting right, although i didn't see it until after i bought the fasttech one.The kayfun i have coming is a clone,so hopefully the glass works, but i figure if it doesn't i would rather lose the $4.60 and the $1.54 for the upgraded shipping, than the $20+ that these kits are going for most places.

SoV has a temporary site up: Welcome – Science Of Vaping

10% discount code ILOVESOV until Tuesday the 24th.

thanks for this info. I was able to get the v2 nano and full sized kit. I also emailed him and he said he will have mixed brass reservoir caps soon for the v2 kits.

Its funny, i only really use my KFL when driving, but I have a ton of accessories for it. so fun and cool looking.

For anyone who didn't see it yet, fasttech just released the full size quartz kit.I got the nano kit from them a few weeks ago,and have not had any problems at all with that one,and the full size kit looks to be made the same,so it should be good also.Best part is it is available in stainless, black, and i think gold colored.I picked up the stainless for $4.89,i think the black is like $5.11.
