Maybe one of these is already on the market and I haven't run across it yet. I would love to have a tool that would allow you to remove the bottom of a kayfun while the tank is still full. It would be simple for a machinist to make.
It would have a flat base with a stem coming up that is the same diameter as the O.D. of the chimney top. The very end of the stem would need to be machined a bit smaller so it would slip into the top of the chimney. This could be easily made from metal or a durable plastic like delrin.
You would insert this simple tool in through the drip tip and into the chimney. You would then turn your Kayfun upside down and unscrew the base from the tank tube. As you pull the base and chimney out the tool would slide up and create a seal in place of the chimney.
There may be different dimensions between different models so the EHPro Kayfun Lite Plus V2 would be the best one to start with.
