So short and simple, my kayfun has too much flavor and not enough vapor production. Same 0.7 ohm micro coil and same green apple juice in a dripper and I'm fine. I can inhale until I have no room left and exhale. 4 second hit on my Kay and i choke more often and blow air out my nose lol

Is there anyway I can kill the flavor production? I must have used drippers as ADV for too long...but I love it but I want more from it, and i feel like it could be better.

All devices are different and a build that works in a dripper mite note work in a KF
with my KF's I find wicking is the issue I use a lot of wick and wrap it around the bottom step till its full of wicking material
If I use less wick I will get dry hits and burn my wick more often
The hight of the coil off the deck is also a factor I like mine almost touching the bottom air hole
If I lift it too much I get a harsh hit (too much throat hit) this is all subjective to the user so good advice is to keep trying different coil wick setups till you find what works for you The slightest little adjustment can make a big difference Hope you find what works for you
I did and love my KF's :)

I will try higher and lower for my coil placement. It's just hard to fiddle with a tank that you can't just pop apart, adjust, pop together, and test.

I kept unscrewing my air flow but it didn't really change anything but the pull, and I'm sure I was like 1 thread away from a mess lol so I quit.

usually more airflow, but if that's not a possibility then most likely you need more power. my kayfun doesn't produce as much vapor as my drippers, that's just the way it is. now I do have a set up that comes close and its with my dna-20 mod, I have it set up with one of my kayfuns along with a single twisted 27g micro coil and at 20 watts it blows pretty good.

all tanks have there limitations they will never perform like a dripper .7 seams low for a KF I run mine at 1.3 to 1.8
I have mine tuned in pretty good and they have excellent flavour not bad Vapour production but nothing like a dripper at .5
have you looked at the Reo's They work like a dripper and are convenient like a tank :)

I'm running a 28awg microcoil at 1.8ohm with organic cotton and flavor is awesome. Not expecting much vapor production but it puts out a bit. The kayfun is all about flavor. I ran a .6 coil microcoil once and ripped it out in a few days. Thats what the an RDA is for. Go with a higher ohm coil and appreciate the flavor. Leave the cloud production to the RDAs.

I also have a kayfun with this very same set up which I do enjoy but prefer the twisted 27g better because I am able to obtain a little more power into it with the dna. Maybe try some twisted 27g and resistance of .6. If done right it will be a little slower but because of increased wick coverage should produce more vapor.
