1. Is it safe to carry a Kayfun V5 with the juice flow holes open? I mean leak wise? If it's in my bag and not moving?

2. I'm wondering why when I close the juice flow holes with the tank on my mod (cuboid) the mod says atomizer short. Seems like the 510 pin unscrewed with me tightening the juice flow holes (must be doing it wrong)... I tightened the pin with my fingernail and it worked but I closed the juice flow holes after vaping and now it's the same problem.. atomizer short.. derp!

Thanks guys :p

1. As safe as any other rta. I know, not much help; but meaning it depends on how much cotton you use, temperature changes, liquid viscosity, orientation, jiggle, etc.
2. Sounds like an actual short. Closing the juice flow screws the chamber down. Your coil is probably touching the top of the chamber? Smaller ID, lower the coil, or both.

It's not touching, it was working fine before and still worked after I screwed the 510 pin back in.. I dunno what to do at this point..

Just a wild guess, but the positive part of the coil deck may have twisted along with the 510 pin moving. There's just a small gap between the ground section and the positive section of the coil mounting blocks. Just a small twist and they touch. Check for parallel spacing between the ground side of the block and the positive movable part.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner but I fixed the problem. Seems the coil had a problem because I rebuilt it and screwed the 510 back into place and it worked.

I'll keep an emergency tool kit with me next time I'm out. Haha :p

It's easy to have a wire end protruding a little from the positive pole screws and touching the chimney. Trim them close with a side cutter or toenail clipper.
